What are your opinions on Flippa both from a domain selling platform and a website selling site platform. ?

Do you trust the sales data coming out of there ?

Do you think $29 listing fee is too high and provides incentive to allow as many bad auctions because they get paid either way ?

Do you like it for straight domain sales ?

There have been some decent sales there lately like Templates.net for $17,100 and Ear.org for over $5550.

I'm assuming you like them or there wouldn't be a link in your sig ;)

Flippa is fine in my book, I've sold sites there but haven't tried domains by themselves. Lots of eyeballs on the auctions there, and a ton of endusers.

Lothos they are an advertiser on Hybrid Domainer so the link in the signature is just another avenue of the advertising, an extra bonus.

I have never purchased a site from there but have thought about selling some names as a test.

I suspect Flippa...

Domains are also sold at good price, they are sold or they have their own drama?

I have never tried them but have heard they work well.

You can get a good price there as long as you have a premium domain. For mediocre domains, you have to think about that $29 listing fee.

I dislike them, they ask for a fee no matter if you sell a website or not , their support is slow(at least it was slow back when I tried them), they dont offer escrow services, their listings are flooded with sellers that try to rip you off.

In general I dislike upfront fees.

Ray I d like to read your opinion too about Flippa as a potential client of theirs.

It seems like a great resource for research of sales in a given niche or market but, one can argue that those may be inflated or suspect.

Flippa's high listing fees are a deterrent for many buyers, especially when the site/domain may not be sold.
