Weird enduser(s)

Recently , well a month ago I contacted an enduser who's a founder of a app related company.He's the founder himself , the company has 40k likes on facebook.

I gave him a higher price but a week later he came with a lower offer and said he wanted to buy it for this price . 4 days later I emailed him back accepting his offer but got no reply.I emailed again a week later and then another week but still no reply.

I checked his linkedin and some years ago he was also a domain investor/flipper .What I hate is that he just moved away from the deal without confirming if he still wants to buy or not.

The domain is 100% related to their business.

Sometimes, you have to wait.

I am in the process of closing similar $xxx. This case, he offered a price and I accepted but they went silent.

I knew something was up so I picked up my phone and called. In the phone conversations, I was able to understand the reason for his silence which is FEAR of being scammed.

I took out the fear in him and gained his trust and he has agreed to go on with the deal. I am in the process of transferring the domain name.

I have another one pending which has gone completely silent despite sending godaddy link to purchase. She seem happy as security issue had been settled but she didn't complete the deal.

There is a new one and as this_username_was_banned stated, silence is greatest negotiation tactics. I reached out to them for the domain. On same day, the owner of the company forwarded the email to her IT guy (from what I saw in the email), whom I tried to avoid at search via whois and went to look for the owner of the company.

The IT guy responded only after 7days may be to see if I will contact them and since I didn't, he came forward and ask how much am I willing to sell the domain name for. I quoted almost mid $x,xxx . I haven't heard back from them since then and I have made up my mind to ONLY contact them by end of this month which would make it look like I am not desperate for the money.
