have some good news.
weather channel people have updated the weather.mobi site

No redirects & it proudly displays 'weather.mobi' at the top

hmm.
i typed in weather.mobi into my browser as never type www. anything

got weather.mobi at top etc

typed www.weather . mobi
and got weather.com at top

guess they are fixing it up, takes time i suppose
i tried to find an email for them off their site a while back (the com) bleeding impossible

no news from mtld as far as i know

Good news. I knew mTLD would make that a requirement. I also bet they have to advertise and promote it so hopefully we will eventually see weather.mobi mentioned when you go to weather.com and go to the mobile section.

I think the only change is it went from saying twc.mobi to weather.mobi. Also if you go to twc.mobi it now says weather.mobi. As for the difference between the www and no www we've talked previously about it here

Nice. Now that we know the domain has been purchased, we should see it being promoted by them. Maybe a nice "weather.mobi" icon on the cable channel? That would be sweet.
