Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

I love the whole concept of having a physical environment you can run around in. I wonder if they'll franchise it out and have stores with built environments, very much like they have laser tag play areas in a lot of cities.

Picked up virtualbitcoins.com. Hope it's a successful bid.:-,

I was just thinking about this. Do you see a VR coin/currency happening? If yes, do you think it'll be called "vrcoin"? Or, will BTC make it's comeback?

VR and Virtual are not the same thing. This is a common misbelief

VirtualBitcoins makes 100% sense, because Bitcoins are Virtual! VRBitcoins doesn't really, unless your headset lets you become Scrooge McDuck and you are swimming in your VR of gold Bitcoins.. haha

PS- Bitcoin never went anywhere, the price however did. It was over priced by greedy people hoping to make a buck. Now the price has stabilized, and smart people are using it everyday to save on fees and save time.

Yeah but, I'm not asking about a duplicate bitcoin...more like a method of payment for the VR worlds. Something like the in app payments we have now. Maybe it's ridiculous, I'm just wondering.

Bitcoin is a method of payment, for the Virtual and the real world. But I suppose someone could make a crypto coin for the VR world, but there have been thousands of coins that have tried to get Bitcoins market share and none have come close.

It's up in the air how payments are going to work. Maybe you'll be able to wave your wrist over a small box in the virtual world and pay with Apple Pay. Haha.

I saw someone bidding on btcvr.com the other day. Wonder how that auction went.

Yeah. I noticed the .com, .net, and .org for "vrcoin" were gone. I was considering the .ca, which is why I asked.

I suppose VR has to be established and accepted among the masses, before something like this can even be considered.

Btw, "vrcoins" is a good one! It could be a game, if a VR currency doesn't happen.

I'm thinking these might have a bit of potential. Whether they're used for regular home videos or the adult industry.

VRHomeVideos (dot com)
HomeMadeVR (dot com)

HomeMadeVR could be used for DIY headsets too. Cool name!

So, I officially can't reg. anymore domains for a while. I'll post some availables here.

vrjelly.com and jellyvr.com are available - Hurry!

They'd make awesome brandables and potential games, imo.

EDIT: Candy Crush is getting into VR, which could help the value of this domain. Cheers.
