Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Any ideas what you can translate TA for?
It's my first name related to VR and I think it's kind of cool for branding, letters A and V mirror each other, also short and easy to remember, I wish it would be in .com, oh well..

I know it's not much, but it's the best I could come up with. (I'm a bit partial to Fliporium's idea as well! )

When I hear 'T & A' my automatic thought was to what I suggested hehe. Maybe I have a dirty mind but it's a very common term, nicely recognizable. If you have the stomach for it, porn isn't a bad earner. 'T & A' sounds softer than all out porn, which is a good thing I think because it's something different by contrast to set it apart ... but with a lot of T & A!

Being only 4 letters helps it against the .net extension. Doesn't this domain already have growing value because of that?

A weird side note for some of you...

In The Beginning !

I collect many things, but I like historical things.

I just ordered some aug time magazines from ebay.
My hope is to run into Palmer Lucky somewhere and get them signed along with my wired magazines from last year (i think it was july) and my DK1 with a early serial number. Possibly a CV1 ?

If you truly understand how big VR is, you understand.
If not, you probably think it is a bit cooky.
But I use to be on MTBS3D before the rift proto so I really have followed this vr resurgence since the beginning. I was also involved a bit the first time around.

Just saying in the case you also wish to collect a piece of history.
When the CV1 is out, DK1's should be dirt cheap.

These will hang on my wall no matter....

my DK1 is allready hanging on my wall for a while will have to check the serial number on it it's a souvenir now i had great time with it anyway

Chinese Co Ximmerse putting out a tracking system. What I thought was good about this was not the use in a PC, but in this demo, it worked with a GearVR.

Still waiting on the Big announcement from Samsung on Thurs.
That should really kick things off for VR.

As we've seen over the past few months, mainly names with VR + keyword or keyword + VR are the ones selling and this will definitely continue.

If it was 360VR.com/VR360.com yes, but domains with three "keywords" are too long for an already small market. Best luck however, I hope they work because I believe I have one with those 3keyw combinations.

None of those. 360 vill be used for video. Video is not virtual reality. VR will be used for Virtual Reality. Virtual Reality is not video.

That's your opinion, but all you need to do is Google "360vr" to see how many different companies, apps and domains are already being used with 360vr or 360vr in their title.

My aim is to make money, I don't particularly care what is technically VR and what is technically 360video.

I want them both to succeed but I personally think the lines between the two will eventually merge so much so that people will not even care as long as they get a great experience out of it.
