Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I’ve just sold VirtualBF(.)com for $890 via Afternic broker. Would normally hold out for (a lot) more but low sales rate this year so took it. Might be the same buyer :xf.wink:
Nice! May be same buyer, also got offer via Afternic.

I think a good quality longtail would be where there is an industry need for the added keyword or the added keyword represents a large niche/sub niche.

The example I usually give is "interior design".

The keyword "interior" on its own is a bit vague imo.

"Design" even though a premium keyword on its own, however can represent a wide spectrum of different design categories.

"interior design" however is an exact match niche in its own right in a very large, popular niche.

If someone said to me that their area of expertise was design, I would probably ask what kind of design work are they involved with. But if they said they worked in interior design I would instantly know the exact sector they are talking about.

Hope this kind of makes sense.

Thank you for taking the time to explain. Would you say that VRDIRECTMARKETING in.com qualifies as a quality longtail?

Just catched the dropped domain CamGirlsVR dot king for $59.

When i listed CamGirlVR dot king for sale in 2015 or 2016 i received a $250 offer. I only listed this domain for sale for just 3 months.

It is not a very important domain but good enough for renewal / portfolio / future.

I was the buyer and I have the patience. :xf.smile:(y)

Nice name.

Good purchase, it is proof that you can still buy good names at very reasonable prices, and it is also the proof that vd domaining is not yet mature enough, when it is, it will be practically impossible to make purchases like this.

Take advantage to do this kind of shopping now that you can still, it will soon be impossible.

Congrats

Wow, congrats. That’s crazy the guy would take such little profit. The purchase must’ve put him in a bind and needed the cash. Good luck with it.

Thanks. I don’t think he made a profit since he had to pay a listing fee and the success fee of 15% to flippa.

Doesn't make sense then, unless he thought he'd get more.
