Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

those keywords/keyterms may be allright on .com.
but imo a .org needs significantly stronger keywords/-terms to stay afloat.

some VR .org have sold for some people... like vrclinic etc.. some sold for nice 4figures too!
I think I only had one sale.. vrlove..

I'm personally keeping a few.. but I really try to handpick them.. I personally wouldn't keep the ones you mention.. but that's of course my opinion only.. not trying to compare.. everyone acts according to their experience, knowledge, intuition etc..

obviously, trademarks/copyrights will be needed in VR down the road.. like for any niche etc.. when they are.. domains and sites with these types of names would be the goto places for reference etc..

I personally own and do renew VRcopyright (.com)

but I prefer singular.. personally.

virtualcopyright...com is 20 year old name now
virtualcopyrights.. com is availabel to reg I think

somtimes that can help decide... among other things.

so thats enough for me in that area.

I'm sure I'll regret selling a few of them, but I don't mind letting a few go here and there It's pretty cool to see some of them get developed, although I'm pretty sure most sales are going to resellers.

The rest of the year is looking good for VR! As I introduce more people to VR who haven't had a chance to try it, everyone is blown away by it. The only real negative feedback has been the wires, so now that Vive is releasing their new wireless adapter, I think the Vive could be very popular going forward. Which I think is pretty important for the success of VR. I could see the Vive being in high demand for Christmas this year.
