Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

Has anybody had any luck with ccTLD VR domains? I've so far just stuck with .com's.

Had a few inquiries on my .DE names but thats it

Okay, the money's in the bank so here comes the "reveal"...

Sound VR / COM was the name... (I was actually offered much more for the name after it entered Escrow by a "late" bidder... but the deal was already done... [I've only had this happen once before in all my years domaining... Oh well, you win some, you lose some...])

Still, not a bad ROI on a 3 yr. old hand reg! ;) And the VR beat goes on...

PS - I just put my names on Afternic a couple weeks ago, and I already have yet another VR inquiry... I gotta say, I'm impressed with the Afternic listing results so far... (Never really liked 'em before, but I think their 2013 marriage with GoDaddy has really greatly increased the professionalism of their brokerage force and the scope of their reach...) (y)

Congrats, I hope they continue to increase sales, I would like to see many published here until the end of the year.

here, vr-sound dot com.

Congrats!
3 years ago few of this thread bet on the keyword VR option. Very good intuition yours.

I received an offer for $ 3500 per CVCV VR.com, at the moment it seems that the negotiation has stalled, patience is the key.

Good hunting.

Not bad at all for 1,3k. I would consider to buy this domain myself with the traffic it generates. To bad the value of the traffic is low... but still a good buy.

I would drop the .co... i have also dropped p****vr.co. If it was without the aditional o i would consider a renewal.

GoVR dot com ended at $11,850.
Kinda feel bad for seller, buyer got a bargain.

Had this on my watch list, seller lost out big time. Could've received 4x that on sedo/Afternic. I agree, wrong time... wrong auction platform.

I feel like there is a weird thing going on in domaining at the moment where mediocre domains are going for too high prices and truly premiums like GOVR for too cheap. There should be much bigger multiplier between those two categories.
