Virtual Reality Domains (VR)

Spaceship Spaceship
Watch
Im betting big bucks on VR domains have a great future and with the big boys buying up VR companies, mainstream is a stones throw away.....

Lots of VR+keyword.com taken years ago and I noticed this sale a week or so back -

VRTechnology.com $3688

This was a steel and I can soon see everything from VRPoker / VRCasinos / VRShopping / VRBrowsing / VRTours / VRWorlds / etc etc....having a high price tag even now at the start of VR hitting mainstream...

I have just paid $x,xxx for a name but will not be showcasing as the domain is in escrow at present....

Feel free to showcase your VR domains If you like...

Cheers

I sold it for 20k I didn't want to really disclose it to the whole world thanks @gilescoley .

I made 14k in 2 mins you guys want to talk crap and hate by saying I under sold it go for it I just bought a house cash and I needed a fast flip and the money was right on time anyone who don't respect my decision to sell is a hater

Takes skills to acquire names for cheap
Takes skills to make fast money like that.
Doesn't take much skill to whine about a sale you didn't make

its your domain you can sell it whatever you like
just in case u missed what I said.. cause you put a dislike on it.. I said the xmas gift was the 6k sale.. not the 20k sale.

in case you did misread it, well, I guess in future take more to read before you write.

Congrats on the sale.

Who was talking crap? I scrolled back, but didn't see any negative comments?

he probably didn't even bother to read the whole thing I wrote about xmas gift being the 6k sale.. not his 20k sale.

shame. I thought 20k was a great quick flip. even if worth more cause its VR.

cheers

Hi mates!

Since i have a little baby who needs a lot of money to grow up, i need to sell most part of my VR-portfolio. :) All names are VR.

I created a thread with all of them. Please browse through!
I know not all of them are ultrahigh-quality, but i think there are a lot of diamonds among them ;)

I'm not happy to sell them but my baby is the most important.

Have a nice day!

I have received positive news recently, I contacted a broker about a few domains and received a $30K offer (minus 15% fee) on one of them. Unfortunately I can't take it as it's below my target, but it's still very encouraging. (y)

Just spent over $500 renewing just 5 names. But had a nice surprise because the price had been reduced by over $100 from when I put them in my cart a week ago. So maybe sometimes GD reduce the price if you leave something in your cart for a while.
(VR.Finance, VR.Dental, VR.Clinic, VR.Holdings, VR.Kitchen)
good luck with them buddy nice names

I never understood this, did two guys co-own it previously?

lol yes
confusing things usually happen when people attempt to talk abotu themselves in 3rd person :)
funny

but its all good.
no idiots anywhere
looks like 6k seller made roi
and 20k seller too
and I think we all agree the current owner when he sells will make roi too
so 3 people all happy puppy.. what more to ask for!

He was being facetious saying him and the previous owner were both idiots for selling cheap. Like alcy said everyone is technically a winner in that deal.

Snapped up a good set on the dropped .xyz list today - I figure at a 99 cents per reg, even a single sale can cover a good 500 flops - obviously not jumping into a renewal unless the big interest hits my doorstep.

vrlog.xyz
vrkit.xyz
vrtrips.xyz
vrwatch.xyz
vrfitness.xyz
vrcontent.xyz
vrviewer.xyz
vrmagic.xyz
vrshops.xyz
vrhealth.xyz
vrvision.xyz
vrgoggles.xyz
vrmedicine.xyz
vrdesigner.xyz
vrgadgets.xyz
vrhardware.xyz
vrheadgear.xyz
vrtechnologies.xyz
vrphotography.xyz

I really like the techy feeling that .xyz brings with it. Hate it or love it, it's easily my favourite of the new Gtld's aside from the potential .web coming soon.

Zynga, EEDAR vets launch VR studio focused on tabletop games

EEDAR co-founder Geoffrey Zatkin and former Zynga New York GM Demetri Detsaridis have revealed their new virtual reality studio, Experiment 7, to GamesIndustry.biz. Joining Zatkin (Creative Director) and Detsaridis (GM) is Coray Seifert, the studio's director of production who previously served as executive producer atImpeller Studios. Unlike a lot of VR studios who have focused on shooting or action, Experiment 7 is hoping to transform game night, to make it possible to play any number of tabletop games with anyone in the world, but with a real social presence.

"Want to play a game of chess with your buddy who moved cross country? How about hanging in a starship lounge, gazing out at the stars and chatting just like you would in person? We're removing the geographical and logistical constraints that keep in-person game nights from happening, while maintaining the social aspects that make them fun with our Magic Table platform," says Zatkin.

Another VR with Obama, always good for VR exposition :)

The Obamas show off the White House in virtual reality

Not everybody gets to visit the White House. But now you can visit what Barack and Michelle Obama call “The People’s House” in virtual reality on Facebook 360 and the Oculus Rift.
