.co Views on one word .CO domains

Just curious what you guys think about single word .co domains?

Do you think these are a good long term investment? Im taking a punt and holding some .co names but only single word domains longterm.. We will see if they pay off.

There are a lot of single word domains I wouldn't own in the top three extensions. Just because it's a single word doesn't mean anything other than it's a single word. Like .pro, .tv, .mobi and .US you have a very few number of people making any money with .CO. The larger holders of these extensions will argue otherwise.

As with most things people place in storage units for years the value of those items are far below the storage costs.

Have you ever seen Storage Wars? Sometimes there can be some valuable contents in Storage Lockers.

I guess its all down to supply and demand. In 50 yrs time .net, .tv, .org and .co may become a more valuable commodity after the release of hundreds of other domain extensions such as .shop .movie .phone etc.
