I was just watching the 'latest' video from VU

I used to think they were so cool when I was back in art college but jeez take a look at them now. Mo Tucker looks like my grandmother! She was never the best drummer in the World but it didn't matter much because it was the overall impact that was so great.

I'm sure some of NP's younger members will have no clue what I'm talking about but that's cool :D What about some of the older brigade, any thoughts on growing old gracefully. Or in the VU's case NOT!

Do love the Cowboy Junkies' version of this song, btw, which beats the VU's version by a long mile... :D Same wonderful dreamy/beautiful atmosphere to it as one of my (many) other fave songs, 'Tomorrow is Another Day' by Wayne County And The Electric Chairs...
