CampusUnderground is now open and will hopefully be a very long term project of mine. www.campusunderground.net
what is campus underground?
Well CampusUnderground is a community mainly for college kids. Currently it is mainly directed at changing some policies at my school's campus, Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI, and overall bringing students closer together. I plan on expanding to several schools in the future and adding several features soon.
I just got the skin today, from www.forumthemes.com , its called "Takeout" and was designed by Michael Novikov. In my opinion it is quite amazing, and both William, owner of forumthemes.com, and Michael were very helpful and professional with all of my questions, concerns and overall interaction. William has been keeping updated daily with the status of the skin, as I wanted to buy it several days before it was released.

Why should I join Campus Underground?
Even though you probably don't attend my university, a student can never be well rounded with outside interaction. By interacting with students from my school and many other schools, it will help bridge more and more students from many universities. Maybe you will make a friend at another school, who will then ask you to come party/visit at his/her school. Maybe not, but there are many opporotunities to meet new people all around the world. Also, once you register, and once Campus Underground expands, you will already be a member and won't need to register later!
I hope that some of you will register and help make my community bigger and better than I ever could expect. I am in the process of designing a custom skin, but I also need to gain capital to have it coded, so I figured a pre-made skin was the best route to at least get it off the ground.
Since I need to raise some money I am also offering my opening special for advertising on CampusUnderground.

Now, I realize we have little traffic, and the forum just opened, so if you order an advertisement spot, your spot will remain for 2 months during my opening special, so if you ordered today, your ad spot would not expire until 6/9/06!
