Value of Domain Hacks

Here's my question..what is the value of domain hack? I've seen some good domain hack and i was wondering about the value of it. I myself own one and i'm not sure whether or not i should get more. I haven't seen any sale of domain hack. Why do we register domain hack? Is it because the domain looks cool or because there's a potential end user who's willing to buy such domain?

Nah, I prefer reselling them for $x.xxx - $xx.xxx to another sucker like me that thinks there is value in them :P

I'm in escrow since 3 weeks or so now for a hack but I have no idea if this will go through as the buyer takes a lot of time and has second thoughts. Hopefully it will. Will share when done.

Forgot to update this. It didn't go through as the buyer (big company) stopped answering and left escrow to expire.

It was a .re domain (haven't seen a sale yet in this extension) and the price was low x,xxx.

Anyway, still a lot of chances.

I was very surprised MyrtleBea.ch was available and grabbed it What do you think?

It's a good hack but a bit long for my taste (I don't like 2 word hacks unless the second word is the extension), however this one works rather good for a 2 worder, it wouldn't surprise me to see it reported as a mid $x.xxx enduser sale, from a domainer you can probably expect $100, at least that would be what I would be willing to spend (max.)

Thanks, Toni. What I like about this GEO is the fact it's one of the most popular tourist destinations in the US and the .com sold for $6.5 million. Plus there are plenty of sales containing the keyword reported in Namebio, the highest of which is MyrtleBeachCondos.com for $120,000.

Ma.gs is really a good hack. I used to collect only 2+2 hack back in the day. That is definitely can go for $x,xxx range.
