It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

They are a hard sale sometimes and depending where you've registered them, renewals can be fairly expensive. One option I've used in the past is to barter product w/ a company for the name(s) and I always leave a snippet such as:

I am of the thought that the new extensions flooding the marketplace will eventually make .US more appealing as it has been around a long time, is trust worthy and other reasons as listed in the link above.
