It appears the domain industry has been starting to take notice of the .us namespace over the past year, read DnJournal.com .us growth and Namepros with even greater expectations for the year to come.

So I thought it would be a good idea to ask everyone to show us your .us domain names. You can post your favorites or your entire portfolio.

What is the drop process is for .US domains?

I thought renewal grace was 40 days and restore 30, pending delete 5 days. Seems to be much longer than this.

I've seen this. Most .US domains have a long drop process. Trying to understand the general timline.
Source neustar registry site-
What is PendingDelete Status?
When deleted, all domains that have been registered for more than 5 days are initially placed on PendingDelete status before being purged from the Registry database and made available for registration. The exception to this rule is domains that are deleted within the first 5 days of the initial registration. These domains will be purged immediately, and not be placed in PendingDelete status. Domains remain on PendingDelete status for a period of 35 days before being purged, unless they are โ€œredeemedโ€ by the sponsoring registrar. This period is known as the Redemption Grace Period (RGP). See below for more information on RGP and domain redemptions.

What is the Redemption Grace Period (RGP)?

The Redemption Grace Period is the 35 days following the deletion of a domain. The purpose of RGP is to allow registrars and/or registrants to correct for inadvertent deletions. During the first 30 days of the Redemption Grace Period, registrars may request the Registry to redeem a deleted domain, and thus restore it to its original disposition prior to deletion. Redemptions may NOT be performed during the final 5 days of the RGP. The whois record indicates if a domain is eligible for redemption. Domains that are eligible are marked โ€œPendingDelete (RESTORABLE)โ€. A domain that is โ€œPendingDelete (SCHEDULED FOR RELEASE)โ€ cannot be redeemed. All redemption requests must be submitted through your registrar.

Some great .US sales

Appraise.us $6,100
Gig.us $7,100
Shirts.us $10,000
Hide.us $10,000
Gaming.us $15,000
Wallet.us $18,250
Cash.us $20,100

Including the other significant .US sales for the same period: Anyone happen to track what actually stayed with the current owner?

As questioned earlier regarding all the other larger sales: Did the whois change on those?
Hillary too?

Can't add to above so...Otherwise the sales reports including the bidding (as if representing demand) on those is meaningless imo.
