& what stop you to register .us ?
I am not a US citizen
If you are not US citizen doesn't mean you can't register a .us
Any can register a .us domain but must follow the rules
What are the rules ? Very simple
As non citizen must prove ( in case of a complaince Nexus ) that you have a connection with a US entity ( person or company ) with a simple bill ( sale of a domain for example )
Thanks for replying. Sorry that doesnt make sense the bill of sale as a connection to us identity. You could buy into the venture for a one time payment of 1 penny, plus 1% of renewals. My plan is to build an established website and sell it to dncafe
For me .us is a hack something us, would be used in that sense. What are current number .us registered?
For a Nexus verification ( for them ) is enough that type of bill
Of course if some one have a business , a partnership with a US entity ( like me ) much better
.us i think are reg. close to 2 millions & rise
I try to send a message @MasterOfMyDomains but not possible
Would've thought "Wonder bread"(popular bread maker in the US) bought this, but apparently its still for sale:
Not sure, reported here https://www.thedomains.com/2021/06/22/sedo-weekly-domain-name-sales-led-by-ecommerce-de/
According to Namebio ( official )
Total sale number: 153
Dollar volume : 166000 USD
In 2021 until 25 June
Total sale: 122
Dollar volume: 153000 USD
And we are only after 6 month
This are official sales but personal i know at least 6-7 sales that are not indexed on Namebio including my sales of NeverGiveUp & GoodIdea = 4000 $
So my guess is official & unofficial total sale are around or close to 200k
A promo from SEDO - A very good move/thing
Maybe finally they will know the value of .us

Bees.us - $3,250. My sale.
Congratz on the sale. Nice hit.
Care to share some details?
There isn't much to it.
I had it priced on Afternic and someone bought it. LOL
I generally only have my non .COM priced on there at the moment, and not all of them.
I have a BIN then put my floor at 90% of it. It sold between the floor and my asking price.
Just noticed a Dynadot special, $1.99 for .us (expires 7/7/2021)
Ron Jackson over at DNJournal announced a new website on a .us domain.
"launching American Domain Names, the .US News & Information Website, at ADN.US on the 4th of July"
Read the whole article here: https://www.dnjournal.com/archive/lowdown/2021/dailyposts/20210704.htm
Nice & good news from @Ron Jackson
A good intiative and big step after Sedo start to promote .us on front page
As a long time fan of .US I am glad to see that it is getting some traction now amongst domainers and end users.
@Ron Jackson ,
Congrats on your new .US website,
At one time I had a lot of .US domains, but due to having some health issues and becoming disabled I was not able to maintain a large portfolio, but I managed to hang on to a few of my best domains:
Happy 4th of July to all the .US fans.
600 domains ONE PRiCE
Let's bring some salt & pepper
Desi.us $461 GoDaddy
*Not my sale. Per Namebio today.
rbnn.us $835 GoDaddy
*Not my sale. Per Namebio today.
I backordered several .US in the last few days, tied back to the 2002 original dates, on several venues.
I didn't win many. Most went random places. I think there is an increase in competition over past years at the domainer level.
This is following GD expired auctions recently that had a lot of interest for top brands/keywords.
bastards.us is available at Godaddy Auctions for $40.
i have this one :
deserve a renewal ?
Not imo. I think .us really needs to be single words, or top quality two word terms.
That is more like a solid brand, but the bar for .us is higher.
Separate names with a comma.
