What's the ugliest domain name reg you ever "woke up with the next morning"?

Had some inadvertent typos bulk registering Spanish names once ... but not counting those, I think my ugliest result of "drinking and domaining" had to be ...

LOL, that is a hilarious sounding name. :D My worst regs were some 6 letter domains using a domain generator. I think it's one of those "what-happens-when-you're-regging-instead-of-getting-some-shut-eye" type of domains.

SMSS.TEL..

No one ever told me what .tel was.. Good thing I was able to return it!

I regged an 18 letter domain (won't post as I no longer own) and soon after had regger's remorse when I counted up all the letters pondering WTF was I thinking. A few months later I received an offer and completed the sale via Afternic for $500. Funny thing is the buyer was a domainer and it has been parked for years ever since. One mans trash....

too many to list, but one of the first domains i ever regged was an inadvertent typo. bummed me out...but then a couple of weeks later it became my first sale - for $560. silly me, i regged a bunch of intentional typos after that and never sold any of them.

Houston Property Managment dot com - a victim of my own typo.

I've had a handful where I look back and wonder what the hell I was thinking.

hah! this must be a case of drunken domaining because i don't know how else it could've happened.

just 30 minutes ago, i spotted a domain (CashAdvance.es) in my moniker account. i don't recall ever registering that domain. furthermore, i never parked it anywhere. apparently it's just been sitting under a cloak of invisibility in my account.

and it expired LAST WEEK!

moniker's been doing some strange things lately, so i was about to write to them to complain that they'd stuck somebody else's expired domain in my account when i did some digging around and found the order confirmation, which has two more domains that i registered at the same time and never saw again until today: Hips.es and Juicy.es

wtf!

i must have registered them under the influence of too much jack, but i don't understand how i went a whole year without seeing them again. was i on a 12-month-long bender? or was i so appalled that i blanked them out of my mind?!!

juicy might be worth keeping ?

you really think so, virtual? juicy really is the only one of the three that i have a vague recollection of even considering. but none of my experiments with cctlds have done much for me (nor i for them, frankly).

of course, i really wish i had at least parked it so i'd have an idea of whether it would get traffic.

nudu and virtual, you both make good points. i hate to let either go without making any attempt to do anything with them. haven't looked into it yet, but it might be too late to renew them anyway. the rules and timelines sometimes are different with cctlds.

then, too, my thinking these days is that it only makes sense to register english words in cctlds when the words are heavily searched in those countries. 'juicy' and 'cash advance' aren't heavily searched in spain. thinking about it, tho.

thanks.

made mistakes at namejet and snapnames: thought "q" was "g".
