Hey, I don't want any bad natured attitudes/comments in this thread, but I am just wondering who you support in U.S. Politics. Vote in the private poll, and if you wish, post who your candidate is on this thread.

Thanks.

btw, I voted for obama, but really i wouldn't mind clinton either.
no comment on McCain :p

lol...again, don't get angry at anybody, its only opinions.

My ideal choice is Ron Paul because of where he stands on the issues, but he's not really a viable contender anymore.

Realistically...looking at the three...I have to choose McCain. I been a fan of his since 2003. He would make a worthy experienced president. While I am not for the war...I understand it. And as long as we are winning I don't think we should balk.

Hillary would be a nightmare.

Obama is just too questionable. The man has a good game but can he really back it up?

We all know that McCain can get the job done. I expect him to be the next president.

Still a toss up for me between Obama and Hillary. I'm watching, reading still and trying to dig deeper into what their really about. McCain imho doesnt stand a chance.

Ron Paul is the only one who actually wants to take our troops out and keep them out. A couple of those candidates talk about taking troops out of one country but vote to send them to another. Ron Paul is the only one that will let us have freedom in our lifetime. Aren't you tired of the government taking care of you from cradle to grave? This is not their job.

He is the only one that follows the constitution 100% of his voting record. Enough said.

People need to go find out how all candidates have voted in the past while being in the legislature. You may find out that about 7 out of 10 times that all of them have voted the same way making a fine line or real no difference on their politics. Most politicians will say and do anything to get the vote. And once in(whether it being the 1st term or 5 term or transition from being 1st lady to senator, or transition from another political position to another) Bail out on their themes of their campaigns or promises and adhere to the more wealthier special interest groups and or lobbyists.

I voted for Hilary. I think she has the experience for the job.

Looking at the three, McCain is my reluctant choice. He and Hillary are the two that stand out as leadership material.

Ron Paul wants to go back to the gold standard. There's a reason no world power is still on the gold standard. Enough said. :td:

I voted for McCain by the way. Although he is a little more liberal than I would prefer, he looks like Ronald Reagan compared to Hillary and Obama.

Besides, as long as you narrow down the choices by removing the communists, all you're left with is McCain. ;)

I'm not entitled as a brit, however we had a good woman PM in margaret thatcher and you should be giving the 51% who are women some representation at the top.

Second choice Obama as I believe that he a straight talker and intelligent.

McCain would have been the choice maybe eight years ago instead of bush2 if the country wanted a republican president.

Obama. For three reasons. Ron Paul won't win. I do not want to see the Bush's and Clinton's in the White House for almost a quarter century. If McCain gets in office we will be at war with Iran before his first term is over. :td:

nicedomains.......word!!!!!!!!!!
Ron paul has great ideas, but he lacks charisma, and until theory can turn into reality, its not worth much.
Hillary and obama give the dems great options. They are both smart and advanced. ANy will be at least a decent president. AMerica is stuck at this point though, and we need change- obama is my man for the job.

Not to start a fight or anything. But I take that you are implying that Obama and Hillary are communists?

Its fine if you like McCain, but to say that obama and hillary are communists? I think you've gone too far bro...

You hit the nail on the head my friend. ;)

With Obama's plan to drastically raise the corporate tax and Hillary's nationalized health care system, both of them qualify as quasi-communists in my book.

So you say countries with a strong and national health care system are communist?

I guess that means according to you, many countries in Europe are all communist...

My apologies, they are socialist. Socialism becomes communism when you put a dictator at the helm like Hillary Clinton. :D

All jokes aside, perhaps Clinton isn't a communist, but she definitely is a socialist. I don't support nationalized health care because it is a huge fiasco.

Governments are inherently very inefficient, so why put them in charge of the health care industry, a booming private sector?
