.mobi Type In Traffic

I am starting to get type in traffic on a number of my .mobi sites, has anyone else noticed this? Is it just speculators, NPers, or actual users? Any thoughts?

I've noticed this too, maybe with all the new investment in .mobi and the big names starting to develop their .mobies people are starting to look at the options of owning a few themselves!! Possibly good news for us lot!!!

Stuff I have parked is continuing to see increased traffic but I still suspect it is mostly domainers hunting for names.

My most crazy reg, supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.mobi which is deved into a silly one page site continues to get traffic though. Here are my server stats for Sunday through Thursday:

Browser type - Unique visits
WAP Mobile - 31
Internet Explorer - 11
Mozilla - 2
Safari - 2
Java - 1
MSN Robot - 1
Unknown - 2

Total unique visits 50

This outperforms my best parked .mobi domains right now and encourages me to continue to build sites. Also consider that the top browser is WAP mobile at over 60%, the visitors are indeed largely mobile users and not just NP peeps.

I've made a bit over $1 on my parked .mobis this week and have gotten almost 2k visitors to my site in the last month (only about 150 from NP), so yes, it definitely seems like there are some people out there looking for .mobis.

28 of my 58 parked mobis are now in the double digit views list. Most have SOME views, but a few have 0...at least for now...I have no idea if they're mobile views or not. But at least they're starting to bring in some $

My developed ones are getting between 130- 190 uniques in the last 2 1/2 weeks, with most of that from mobiles. This has been a steady increase from last month.

I've noticed this too. Some of my mobis are now getting four times more type in traffic as one month ago. Most of the traffic is originating from Ireland... just wonder why?

my Emergencytowing.mobi has had 10 views in about 3 weeks...up from 1 last month.

My only .mobi has had 28 views this month but most of them have been in the last 10 days. Not a lot but it appears to be rising.

Where are most of you getting your stats from? I own a few domains i would like to get some statistics, all of them are forwarded to one site that is hosted by mobisitegalore.mobi because im not really paying for my hosting ATM, is there any way I can still get domain stats for my forwarded mobi names!?

My .mobi is parked with a parking co. - so they prvide all the stats

Godaddy provides stats also. I have my site hosted there, and my parked names over at ND or Sedo.

:hehe: I look at it this way, if I can make this insane url pay beyond reg fee with little effort then .mobi is golden IMO. Sometimes when you mind the pennies the dollars fall in line.

Ubersexual has an Overture of 159 for the month of January and yet I've gotten 38 views (with 19 clicks!!!) in the last 11 days

I only have 2 names that have 10+ views and more than 2 clicks. It's still early, of course, but I'm not seeing traffic on 90% of my names either.

My top 2 have 38 views each, with 19 clicks, and 10 clicks respectively. My third best has 8 views and 2 clicks.
