Transferring from Pheenix to GoDaddy

I have a buyer for a domain, which is at Pheenix.

I am thinking about transfering the domain to my own Godaddy account and then do a push, rather than having the non-techy buyer iniate a transfer.

But I am worried that the push may fail due to change in the WHOIS and may require 60 days. Are my fears justified ?

I transfered a domain from Pheenix to Godaddy BUT I had to wait for the 60 days to pass at Pheenix before the push. After that no problems

Thanks, the domain is aged at Pheenix, so it will likely be transfered instantly to Godaddy. I think I have done something similar before. My problem is the subsequent push to the buyer's GD...!?

There is no restriction on pushing the domain between GoDaddy accounts (no 60-day lock, etc). So, as long as the buyer has (or can create) a GoDaddy account, you won't have any issue there.
