Transfer Question

Hi,
i don't know if this is normal but here is the situation:

i have transfered one of my domains from mydomain to godaddy,
transfer is complete but strange for me is that the name is now
in my godaddy account(this is normal) and the same name is still
in my mydomain account(it would expired in jun 2009 but with the
transfer the reg.expiring date is now jun 2010),is this normal that
the domain is in both accounts(whois shows godaddy details)?

I would assume there's just a delay in updating the records in your old registrar!.

If you can change your whois information through GD, than I would assume your transfer has been completed!.

yes i can change whois details in GD account but can also still
manage details in mydomain account

Same domain name in two control panels!!!??? Wow, that's something new...

I wonder how this is possible?

actually, it's not *that* uncommon that the losing registrar keeps showing the domain. if the whois shows that it's with godaddy, then that's where it really is and the transfer is complete. you can probably email mydomain and ask them to manually remove the old domain if it doesn't disappear by itself.
