Tons of troubles with NetworkSolutions.com ...

Hi all,

In the latest months we're starting to have tons of troubles with multiple Web.com related companies:

1. Many domains won on auction through the above platforms are registered with NetworkSolutions.com and this registrar is causing a real headache, believe me :)

2. NameJet & SnapNames are not delivering some won names since few weeks despite multiple complaints from our side, it's becoming an hard fight;

We had problems to transfer out two names because we kept getting an email with a blank field at the place of the auth code and we tried multiple times to retrieve it with the same result so we've submitted multiple tickets until they've retrieved the keys manually for us but there was still something preventing their transfer so we reported multiple times the issue but they ignored our complaints.

Last 04/01/2020 one of these domains expired so we've attempted multiple times to renew it with no success because the system kept displaying an error alert and refunding our payment so we've again opened a ticket at the beginning of April and they confirmed to have forwarded our issue to the competent department.
No reply ... At the end of April we've reported again this issue but they asked to be patient and forwarded again the issue to another department.
No reply and now this domain is on auction at SnapNames.

The second affected domain will expire within few days but we're actually busy with other important issues so we've no time to fight with them.
Considering we've multiple tickets to proof our good faith and the fact they haven't allowed us to renew our domains (we've alrso reported this issue to Icann with no reply), what should we got by hiring a lawyer ? May we realistically sue them for the caused damage by asking for a substantial refund ?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Call them on the phone with all your issues. That is the only way to get things done fast. I have never had an issue getting an auth code there. Its not their fault if SnapNames and NameJet aren’t moving your names. Both notoriously slow.

No sorry I've mentioned two diff. problems just to say we're not only having an hard life with NJ and Snap but also with Netsol.
They've provided the auth codes but there's something wrong with these domains because the transfer keep failing (we tried before the expiration of the first one of course).
We've reported the issue but they didn't cooperate a lot.
I'll now have someone calling them to try getting this matter sorted to see what will happen.

Good luck with your attempts to get this fixed.Do they really care about their customers? I doubt it when they get most all of their business from SnapNames & NameJet. Do they still have a lot of old-time customers. I doubt it if they get service like this :(
