To .BE or not to .BE

That is the question. Why DNS.BE decided to start giving domains away? All of us remember when .INFO was free. Free 1 year registration is a way to promote .BE TLD before .EU starts stealing potential customers. Very wise decision, imho. Many people rush to register domains. Registrars didnt expect that all domain speculators will rush to register premium names as well. That's why rules have been changing all the time. Anyway, after a few more days it will stabilize and it will be possible to register .BE in non-fevering conditions. And I think that after first rush will vanish all three registrars will remove the number limitation for registration.

Not sure of the reg fee as it was in a currency I am not familiar with.

However, I have to say quality is more important than quantity. I registerd a bunch of free .info domains, but I am letting almost all of them drop...

I've got a bunch of clever ones and i'll continue to register more till they close the free deal. And I can't wait for the people who will moan here in a few months when they see the rest of us making tonnes from them, just like .info.
