Hello Everyone,

Appraisals for my most prized domain TNQ.com!

Also stands for Tropical North Queensland, a billion dollar tourist group.

All the best,
Jarrod

If they are a billion dollar company, why don't you sell it to them for a nice 100 grand?

I disagree that Q is a bad letter to end a LLL domain as it can stand for Questions.

I want to try and promote/market the domain to end users like the Tropical North Queensland but I really need advice on how to go about doing so.

I've received 3 offers at Sedo so far, but none over $1,000, I'm yet to here back on my counter offer.

Thanks for all appraisals! :tu:

Regards,
Jarrod

Email them, and ask if they'd be interested ... for a modest End user fee, IYHO! :talk:

PPS. How much was your Sedo counter offer? :gl:
Best of Luck.

You need to find the right person to email within their organisation. If the email goes to someone at a junior level it will simply be deleted because the person may not want to bother his or her boss who then has to bother his or her boss who then has the bother his or her boss, who then has to bother his or her boss. Maybe a written letter to a named director would be more effective.

Good Point.

But I don't think there is any way I can go about doing this? Perhaps in the email title say "Forward to Administration Office" or something in that nature?

Possibly check the WHOIS on the domain, a technical or administrative contact might be useful.

Looking at their site, if they're a billion$ company, they clearly don't care about their webpresence (or, don't understand how bad looking their site is? :D)

I once did this with Tractor Supply Company and was successful in getiing to the person I needed, they were also very professional. Do a search for the company's Marketing Director or President/Vice President of Marketing.
After you find out who that is, do a search on just their name...it's fairly easy to find out their email address. If you can't find out the email address, then that's when you have to resort to titling your email "Please Forward to "John Doe - Marketing Director".

Here's one avenue to check into:

Ian Mitchell - CEO, Tourism Queensland

Ian Mitchell is chief executive officer of Tourism Queensland, Australia's most progressive destination marketing and development organisation.

Ian has an extensive background and experience in both the tourism and aviation industries in Australia and overseas spanning 31 years, including a range of senior roles with Qantas and the former Australian Airlines, and as managing director and chief executive officer of the Northern Territory Tourist Commission.

News January 4, 2006

‘Never never’ man takes up Tourism Queensland post

Ian Mitchell, the man credited with producing one of Australia’s most successful tourism campaigns, has been appointed Tourism Queensland’s ceo.

Mitchell, a former Northern Territory Tourist Commission head, was behind the Territory’s award-winning “You’ll Never Never Know, If You Never Never Go” marketing campaign.

His experience in the aviation and tourism industries spans 31 years and includes senior and executive appointments with Qantas, the former Australian Airlines and, most recently, RegionalLink Airlines.

He replaces Stephen Gregg, who resigned to head the Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld

Now just try to find his email or write to this one, [email protected] and ask to Please forward to Ian Mitchell.
