Q can stand for question, quest, quiz, etc. Those have good potential and might worth about low $xx right now. FNxx domains might worth a little bit more because I think FN can stand for Finland. Maybe mid $xx. Cheers.

I live in Brisbane, Queensland and have also lived in North Queensland. The FNQ domains could have some good potential. However there is very little population in Far North Queensland. The major thing in FNQ is tourism. Therefore if they can be connected with tourism at all it would be a good help to the domains eg:

FNQD.com = Far North Queensland Diving
FNQR.com = Far North Queensland Resorts
FNQS.com = Far North Queensland Scuba (FNQ is the home of the Great Barrier Reef)

Your suggestions are also good as real estate is booming in North Queensland at the moment.

As far as QL standing for Queensland I have never heard this abbreviation and I've lived in Queensland my whole live. It is normally abbreviated to QLD or simply Q. I wish you all the best with these domains and if they're developed or you find the right end user you could do quite well. Otherwise as they are at the moment they are worth about reg fee I would say.

I think that if you have to struggle this hard to try and find a meaning for these domain names then they probably aren't worth as much as you would like them to be undeveloped.

I think they might be worthy anywhere from low to mid $xx.
