I am not saying they didn't sleep together, but simply that is hasn't been proven - unlike the things Mr-x cited. Anyway, it's trivial - because nobody cares if he slept with her. I doubt Melania even cares. A guy like Trump is going to play around - she knew that.

Watched him on one of the morning "news" shows today. If I thought he had a chance and knew more about what he wants to do, maybe I'd take a serious look at him.

The only 2 things I got out of today's interview were:

1. He wants to provide everyone w/ $2k a month while this covid thing runs it's course and people are shut in.
2. He'll be the non-T-man alternative for Republicans that want to stay loyal to the party (as it is now sadly exists...) but don't want to hold their nose while casting their vote. (Now THERE is a selling point!)

Except he's not a republican. I like Justin Amash personally but I don't think he could get reelected in his own state. Lot's of people holding their nose to vote for Biden also.

TL;DR

Washington Post claimed South Dakota was a "hot spot" and the media piled on, all quoting WaPo article. The Gov refused to issue a "shelter in place order".

"Instead, she used a media briefing Monday to announce trials of a drug that President Trump has repeatedly touted as a potential breakthrough in the fight against the coronavirus, despite a lack of scientific evidence."

The condescension is just too much. The "hot spot" was contained to one meat processing factory in one town.

Great Job by a Governor who relied on facts, reason and common sense instead of mob hysteria.

Just as an aside, I knew a call girl in the 80s who was charging $4000-$5000 per night, and as often as not there was no sex - especially with the oil sheikhs, who preferred the boys. On Thursday, Michigan’s House of Representatives moved to sue its governor.

The Republican-led chamber rejected Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s lockdown extension, which would keep the state shuttered ’til May 28th.

Additionally, it voted on a package of bills that would change the way the state deals with the pandemic.

Moreover, it approved a lawsuit in challenge to Gretchen’s authority

The "shelter at home" order by the federal Gov wasn't to prevent the spread of the wuhan flu, it was only slowing it down so hospitals would not be overwhelmed.

As infections and hospitalizations drop, Gov Whitmer's keeps adding rules. Some of the dumbest:

No gardening.

No travel between families

Can't walk through the park, open spaces.

No travel to vacation / 2nd home

Can't purchase items like furniture, garden seeds, car seats, etc. Some stores can sell "non-essential" items, you just have to guess which ones.

The militia are not threatening violence, they are encouraging civil disobedience.
