You're focused on republicans because the democrat lineup is so weak.

Democrats position on abortion is extreme, recently voting against aid for abortion survivors ( infanticide ).

Guns are protected on by the #2A. If democrats were so confident America agreed with them, they would not have to lie about guns to scare people.

I'll never understand the lefts' desire to keep child porn in school libraries and taking children to burlesque / drag shows. Neither do most Americans.

etc..
Don't understand the reply.

Lineup as in who is running or issues?

If you're talking about issues, there is nothing to debate here.

Most Americans support common sense gun control measures, Republicans don't.

Most Americans support access to abortion, Republicans don't.

Most Americans would like a clean environment, the Democrat Party is the environmental friendly party.

Again, recent elections and midterms show the abortion issue is a big one.

So wrong side on the major issues and you simply don't have the numbers to win an election.

If it's Trump, Biden already whipped him once.

If it's Desantis, he's running on same losing issues and hardcore Trumpers will stay home.

2024 there will be another Dem President.

I'm posting the truth, you are not. Easy:

Three militia members sentenced in plot to kidnap Michigan Democratic Gov. Whitmer

https://www.cnn.com/2022/12/15/politics/militia-members-sentenced-whitmer-kidnapping-plot/index.html

You would like people to believe these are feds, lol.

Jan 6, you guys were screaming they're Antifa, BLM. Now many are in prison and........many on the right want to get them out, pardon them. Does that make sense? You guys want to pardon Antifa/BLM? They're just basic, gullible, anti-American, right wing nuts that wanted to overturn an election.

Your own words are crystal clear. I guess the one who doen't know what a dictatorship is it's you. You want the US to be like other despotic countries, crystal clear.
Apparently not, since you seem to read things that simply aren't there. Assuming I want despotism is bizarre. i said nothing about what I want, but it's clear that I don't want despotism.

So far as dictators, you would be surprised to know what some people can say in dictatorships before they are sent to prison. Dictators know that imprisoning critics is a desperate tactic and sign of weakness. You should know that the sentences handed out to protestors for Jan. 6 are the kinds that desperate dictators hand out. Your favorite despots throw around words like "insurrection" the same way they and others like to call people "terrorists." (Putin refers to Ukrainian resistance as terrorists, for example.)

I still stand by saying you don't know what a dictatorship is. But I imagine you will.

Endless nonsense. If it was just a protest, they wouldn't be going to prison.

Once you start breaking laws, doing millions in property damage, injuring 140 law enforcement, etc. you should get arrested and serve time. I guess if it was up to, nothing should be done. You are literally advocating for a lawless society.

Assuming I want despotism is bizarre.
That's precisely what you are asking for. You want "Americans to rise up and march on the capital" and that's called a coup. And that's precisely what Jan 6 2020 rioters wanted to do, to subvert an election results and democratic process by force.
And it will until Americans rise up and march on the capital like they do in other despotic countries.
And there you have again another defence of dictators:
So far as dictators, you would be surprised to know what some people can say in dictatorships before they are sent to prison. Dictators know that imprisoning critics is a desperate tactic and sign of weakness.
Man, you are clearly defending dictators and dictatorships over a democratic country, in your own words.
:banghead:
Go to Russia or to North Korea, and speak against the tyrant. You will know then what a dictatorship is.
You should know that the sentences handed out to protestors for Jan. 6 are the kinds that desperate dictators hand out.
The sentences handed out to "protestors"? Those were not protestors, but attackers wanting to subvert a democratic process and the will of the people, and that's quite MORE SERIOUS than even entering your neighbour's home by force, when by the way, in the US you are allowed to use lethal force in order to repel the attack in your home.

I still stand by saying you don't know what a dictatorship is.
Howerver, I am realizing that you have very clear what a dictatorship is, as you are defending it in every of your posts.

The sentences handed out to rebels and attackers are stated in the US Code (yes, that what Trump wants to terminate).

18 U.S. Code § 2383 - Rebellion or insurrection

https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2383

"Whoever incites, sets on foot, assists, or engages in any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States or the laws thereof, or gives aid or comfort thereto, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States."

The Jan 6 Capitol Attack inciter would pardon the rioters. Nothing strange since he was the main inciter of that Attack.

Trump says he would pardon a 'large portion' of Jan. 6 rioters

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/do...-pardon-large-portion-jan-6-rioters-rcna83873

Former President Donald Trump promised Wednesday night that if he is elected he will pardon a "large portion" of the people convicted of federal offenses for their participation in the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.

In his bid for president, Trump has been embracing the cause of his supporters who stormed the Capitol in their attempt to deny Joe Biden the presidency after the 2020 election.

He has touted the "J6 Prison Choir" and its song, "Justice for All," which features Trump reciting the Pledge of Allegiance mixed with the national anthem sung by people incarcerated and awaiting trial. Trump played the song at his first 2024 campaign rally.

Same with DeSantis. The 2 leading candidates have pledged to pardon insurrectionists. Amazing to have the 2 top Republican candidates basically be anti-Americans.

"Ron DeSantis pledges that, on day one, he will pardon the criminals that participated in the January 6th insurrection. Make no mistake. DeSantis is MAGA, through and through, and if he's given access to the presidency, he will abuse its powers just as Trump did."
--------------------------------
Yes, sadly it seems the GOP has fallen for Trump's MAGA delusion. And now they seem to want to vote only for Trump or Trump-like apprentices or imitators.

Willing to pardon insurrectionists is like saying "you can do it again". Traitors willing to pardon criminals and insurrectionists that wanted to subvert a democratic election process.

Unfortunately, Trump's followers have embraced and swallowed all Trump's (Putin's) directives and policies.
The final goal of these policies is to undermine and if possible destroy the US democracy and its western alliances.

"Make Russia Great Again" is sadly what trumpers (republicans) are willing to vote nowadays.

You assume to much.

Looks like Catturd and DeSantis crew have been going at it. What side are you on @mr-x? I know you like

both of them. Looks like DeSantis finally found some little balls,

now mentioning Trump by name. Going just as planned already, lots of infighting. Going to get much worse. See how much he can get under Trump's orange skin.

Remember that if DeSantis somehow gets the nod and a poll lead. What happened with Hillary? Sanders voters stayed home, just like Trump voters will, just at a higher number. They're more fanatical.

And again with the fake numbers. Hillary was not up 14 points, she was up only 3.2 average:

The last polls before election, average:
Clinton - 46.8
Trump - 43.6

The real numbers, 3.2 quite a difference from the 14 you posted. 2 cherry picked polls, one almost a month before the election.

What an unusual dictator. He wants fewer laws and fewer people in prison! Terrifying.

I don't think you know what a coup is either. Dictators, coups... these are important concepts to understand if you want to throw them around.
And there you have again another defence of dictators:
Add "defence" to that glossary. There is simply no way what I wrote can be read as a defense of dictators. This is just silliness. Be part of Team Sensible, not Team Crazy.

Why do you want more of the same (dem president), instead of Real Change?
Why did you flip on Trump for Desantis? Do you feel that was a disloyal move? Do you regret not staying strong for somebody that was there for you when you needed him? Will you flip back once Desantis is soundly defeated by Trump? You and the 2 x's cast Trump aside for of all people, pudding fingers.

Desantis said he wouldn't run if Trump ran. He lied. Can you really trust a snake?
