A number of domainers have been quietly registering away since the LLLL countdown finished (some also before). There are still good pickings in this countdown including double letters. A few *-LL.com have already been cleared out from A-Z and not just the e-LL and i-LL.

Maybe someone can pretty please persuade 3spar to edit the DYYO software to accommodate?

Also anybody got any latest update on total available and sales updates?

question, how long do you guys plan to hold onto your L-LL or L-LL's?
just after the buyout, that will occur pretty soon, the prices will be higher than reg fees so ... don't need to keep long to make a profit
i will hold them at least 1 year but probably more than that

Thanks, I took U-AC.com (United/Ultimate Air Conditioning)

If you guys find a LL-L or L-LL that you really like and both versions of the same letters are available, do you buy them? I just thought about that actually and am going to go check to see if any of mine are still available.

EX:
ab-c.com
a-bc.com

If you are just going for a triple acronym then I think you probably should. But if there is a two letter abbreviation/acronym included in the domain then I think those two letters should remain together on the same side of the hyphen.

Sure would...and I did, back last year, when I registered

H-MO.com
HM-O.com

:tu:

I also picked up SE-X.us and S-EX.us -- although of course I realize it would be a long time before L-LL/LL-L.us are generally worth anything. Still, it's about as close to "sex.us" as I could ever hope for.

I agree with you, Rich.

If we like "U-DJ" as "You Disc Jockey",
"UD-J" is a different name :imho:

I registered U-OP and K-IQ mainly because OP and IQ have a meaning. If I have registered the other 2 UO-P and KI-Q the meaning would have been lost. (But I still like their pronunciation)

Looks great! K-IQ sounds like "Korean IQ"

I regged L-IQ and N-HQ the other day for this reason,
N-HQ = Names HQ will be the vault of my domains ( at least i hoop so )
and L-IQ = learn IQ :xf.love:

Wrong thread. This is a countdown thread for .coms not .nets. Further, I do not think you'll find much enthusiasm in the .nets right now as most people will probably wait until the .coms have proven themselves before turning to .nets, .orgs, .biz, etc., as historically .coms just do better.

Examples: L-L.com = $2,250 while a L-L.net = $200

Yes, the above examples are not L-LL domains. However, the L-L.com is the closest we have for comparisons.
.........................................................................................

About 170 have been registered off the "sample" list I posted yesterday so I'm reposting it again with the taken names removed. (I know how frustrating it can be to go through a list and choose names that are no longer available.)

OK, I picked a few more off :)

O-VG = Online Video Guide, Online Video Games
Sn-w = Snow, Social Networking Website
a-VW = A VolksWagon
RJ-R = R.J. Rynolds
R-Jr = "R"name Junior
Y-Lo = Kind'a like J-Lo or Yellow

I'm really starting to like these LL-L and L-LL's. Too bad I hopped on so late. Oh well, as long as I get a few :)

Nice names...
A-VWcom would be great on a license plate or as a short redirect for a Volkswagon dealer with a long business name. If I were you I'd actively search for an enduser for that one. Y-Lo would be great for a J.Lo fan site.

I know that, this is not L-LL/LL-L.net countdown thread :hehe:
But mostly top keywords with L-LL/LL-L dot net format are registered, above-mentioned are the only available ones now.

Looks great! K-IQ sounds like "Korean IQ"

I was going more for K as in "OK IQ". ;)

I regged L-IQ and N-HQ the other day for this reason,
N-HQ = Names HQ will be the vault of my domains ( at least i hoop so )
and L-IQ = learn IQ :xf.love:

HQs looked good to me too. Wanted to register H-Iq, but it was already taken (High IQ). I saw L-IQ too but in my mind it sounded more like "Low IQ" than Learn IQ. But, who knows, maybe an end-user/company with an L name comes close to it! Good luck with it!

I think 4 weeks they're all gone

L-L-L.com sold out before LLLL.com
tbh it amazed me LL-L.com & L-LL.com didn't sell out before LLLL.com either

I still love L-L-L.com most BUT i have a lot of the other variants too.

I mean how much does a triple premium LLLL.com go for? say NHZP ?

Well, NH-P.com is FAR superior for example etc etc
chances of enduser are way higher too

L-L-L, L-LL & LL-L.com's are the most overlooked domains in existence imo, for the time being

There are all sorts of nightmares in trying to sell other extensions etc, these are .coms !

4 weeks. anyone else share my view?

4-6 weeks :imho:

can be quicker if some hype reaches other domainers. I regret i did not pay attention to this thread until the day all premium L-LL were gone (though I managed to get the last 40 premium L-LLs)

I do. I agree that the L-LL and LL-L are overlooked and not so long ago we had to virtually bump the thread along. It was however an advantage to have a quiet period to register some nice names. It looks nonetheless that the reg interest is now catching fire and therefore not so long to go now. The only irritant is the .net nuts trying to break into the party. They should make their own threads. This is the final .com countdown for some time. Do you know how many LLLLL.com there are? = 11,881,376

I have just posted a thread about LL-L.com & L-LL.com and also about the not so humble '-' (dash)

Imho the most under-rated character in domaining. Read it Here :)

I'm already in the game, registered my first LL-L/L-LL.com on december & holding 50 - 60 LL-L/L-LL.com
