Just a periodic reminder that elected officials in this country are fair game for criticism by anyone and are not above the law. This is not North Korea, we do not swear unwavering allegiance to a Dear Leader.

Historic note: one of the first things Putin did when he took power was get rid of the two largest media networks - both independent media - in the country

Seattle city council, lead by a communist, passed a tax of $500 per employee on companies making >= $20 mil.

After Amazon stop construction on their new west coast HQ, city council accused Amazon of extortion but lowered the tax to $250.
--

City of Seattle makes it very hard to build new multi family homes. Blames the housing shortage on successful businesses hiring too many people.

Does this make the situation worse or better?

haha, starting in 2011. When did Trump announce he was running again? Where do you find this stuff.

What desperation looks like:

I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes - and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!

Stupid arrogance is becoming your hallmark.

2011
U.S. intel community vastly expands its surveillance authority, giving itself permission to spy on Americans who do nothing more than “mention a foreign target in a single, discrete communication.

haha, just repeated what they posted on the site, nothing about Trump. So specifically, tell me in 2011, an incident of collusion against Trump.

Do you understand what a timeline is? If you can't be bothered to read at least most of the article, why comment.

Yes, apparently you don't. You skipped the question. You could just stop linking to dumb stuff, save everybody time.

I figured out what your problem is.. that stick up your ass is cutting the O2 to your brain.

Interesting idea I saw on preventing these shootings from a gun owner /advocate...
  • Focus on gun safety and responsible ownership for owners.
  • If your weapon was used in a crime, you’re liable. (With reasonable exceptions, like if it was stolen and you had reported it)
Sandy Hook and Santa Fe both used guns belonging to a parent.

Laws don’t prevent things, they are a deterrent and a legal recourse. We have drunk driving laws - people still drive drunk, but it deters a lot of them, and discourages bartenders etc. from enabling. And makes it so enablers can be prosecuted. A law like this would be similar. Non-intrusive but would make it more difficult for these shooters to get a gun without having any effect on responsible owners. Remove the “low hanging fruit.”

Except the first tweet on that list is probably true.

But democrats including yourself mock anyone who wants to make schools safe by increasing security. If it's not gun restrictions, that haven't worked, you're not interested.

Trump asking for an investigation may be self-serving but so was spying on his campaign by O-team.

Not biased, corrupt.

WaPo and NY Times published leaked information about this to spin for the FBI, DOJ. Corrupt media choosing political sides is worse than anything Trump has done.

Unless Mueller has some evidence that President Trump or his campaign was corrupted by foreign influence, this could be a huge scandal. Maybe rewriting of US privacy laws and the way FISA warrants are issued.

Collusion already proved, foreign influence already proved. It's like you haven't been part of this thread.

Influence started from the beginning, from the rewriting of the RNC platform to favor Russia to Trump voting against 99%+ of Congress on imposing sanctions.

Then the non-Russia stuff, when in a moment of honesty you agreed the China/ZTE wasn't a good look, until you fell back trying to make excuses.

This is the most corrupt administration in my lifetime, Trump is getting bought and sold, getting bent over by many people/countries.

There were 2 armed officers at Santa Fe. They had a plan and they had practiced drills. They thought they were ahead of the curve in preparedness. 10 people were killed, last I heard 13 injured including one of the officers.

So armed guards didn’t work either in this case.

Kid took his fathers guns. Why was he able to do that? We’re they not in a safe? Was the father negligent?

On another post shooting note: The girl who was killed who was mistakenly reported at first to be his ex girlfriend... actually, he had been making persistent advances to her for months. She wasn’t interested and kept telling him so. Finally one day she apparently told him off in public in a classroom.

A week later, he comes back and kills 10 people including her.

Violence against women by a partner, ex partner or would be partner is a pattern that’s way too common. Over 50% of female homicides are committed by an intimate partner, 98% of those partners male and more than half of the incidents involve a firearm.

Parents need to be teaching their sons better.
  • No means no
  • Respect other people
  • You’re not entitled to anything, especially not sex with another person.
  • Rejection is part of life. Deal with it. Get over it.
Fathers need to set a good example by respecting women, especially their own spouse. If they have trouble with that, get help or get out.. Kids learn what they see and what they live with.

Two days ago you were mocking the LT Gov of TX for saying Schools should have the same security as courthouses and sport stadiums.

Controlled access.

You don't know that. You don't know anything but what you read and heard from msnbc.

Yes. BTW, he's also criminally liable in many states.

That's not a reason for murder but as always, we'll hear about a dozen different times this douche could have been stopped.

Glad you see you still think Fathers have a roll in raising children.

No. There has been no proven collusion between the Trump campaign and anyone. Lot's of over the top dramatic reading and supposition but no proof.

Mueller has racked up two questionable indictments, and a handful of for "display only" indictments against some RU's companies / people.

Some of those charges were thrown out. Mueller's legal team is lectured by the Judge for sloppy work.

Well... right now I see a lot of high level democrats from the O'team sweating and whining about the DOJ IG investigating them.

As Brennan said, if they have nothing to hide, they should welcome the investigation.
