Looks like the mtld owns most of Christmas, among other things,
After only a couple of verses of the classic "Twas a night before Christmas", I had seen enough.

Owned by Mtld in CAPITALS.
small letters owned by someone else
One and two letter domains held by the mtld and counted as premiums.
"stirring.mobi" the only unregistered domain. Register it if you want it.
Most of the others registered Sept 26/06

I don't know what happened to Donner and Blitzen and all the gang, but I did manage to register "dopey.mobi".

Different story though.

Indeed, the OP is a great way to make the point.

The average quality of what's still in the can though seems much lower than what's already been auctioned.

As an illustration I'd rather have my choice of one single .mobi among those already auctioned, than all of those capitalized above combined (excluding the ineligible single and double letters of course).

I don't know...I'd be pretty happy with Christmas.mobi, Night.mobi, All.mobi, and House.mobi as a package deal...

They're not bad, not bad at all.mobi (my favorite.

If I won any of them in the the next official .mobi lottery I certainly wouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth.

But since the chances of that happening are pretty low given there is no such thing as an official .mobi lottery, I have to say they all seem inferior to domains already auctioned due to competition from both the plural form and other stronger terms in the same market (house.mobi), seasonality issues (Christmas.mobi) or the need for branding in order for people to know what to expect if they were to click on some of these (definitely night.mobi, and possibly all.mobi).

Scratch that, I really like all.mobi now - despite the need to invest a little just to let people know it really does what it says on the tin.

But IMHO music.mobi is much better.
