Hello, I think it would be pretty useful to keep track of all LLLL.com sales , even the little ones under $100 so that , pretty soon , when the available LLLL.com will be finished , we`ll have a better idea on market prices.

It is important that these sales are confirmed. So before to post, make sure payment went OK.

I will start with todays` Sedo confirmed sales:

FISE.com 2,700 Euros
TSRT.com US $760
VEUP.com US $1,700

Also, I found interesting to see this average LLLL, getting bids up to $51 and reserve not me. It says it all.

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I'm not sure. I think it shows that prices are gradually rising toward a $1200 minimum, a trend that's even clearer if you use $1100 as the cutoff.

If anyone has time, it would be useful to know the total number of CP LLLL.com sales reported per day on LLLLsales.com over the same period.

I ran the numbers for Chinese Premiums from Sept 1 thru today and broke them down into 4 prices ranges:
  • $0 - $1000
  • $1000 - $1100
  • $1100 - $1200
  • $1200+

Here's how it looks:

It looks like there is only 1 reported sale under $1000 since 9/24. Also, since then it appears that prices have stayed pretty consistent with about half between $1000 - $1200 and half above $1200.

Awesome! Thanks!!

Very interesting. Looks like the percentage of sales under $1200 has gone from about 90% a month ago (even 2 weeks ago) to about 45% now.

As someone else said recently, the next metric we need here is median sales price. I would be very curious to see how that's changed over the last month.

What is a realistic LLLL floor that could stabilize in the next few months... $200?

Most LLLL domains have been registered for close to $100 over the years. Overall the value would be about double for someone that registered a domain in 2005 2006 2007.

By the looks of things I agree with what your saying about the floor price of LLLL.coms becoming 200 very soon

Currently from my observation the floor is becoming $130 on here on namepros and about $150 in external auctions..

Excluding 1 outlier Flippa sale of $90,

$178.50 is minimum for last 2 days.
$152.50 is minimum for last 3 days.
$125.85 is minimum for last 4 days.

At this rate, it will reach minimum $200 today.

Hey Guys, found this article on DomainShane on his interview with Oliver Hodge on June 30th, 2015, talking about how LLLL.coms undervalued. Seems what Oliver Hodge has said so far is coming true. What do ya'll think?

http://domainshane.com/llll-coms-still-undervalued-oliver-hoger/

He has a simple logic. This is not completely true imo because,
  • 4L domains are 26 times more than 3L domains. It means that 3L domains are hard to find. rarer than 4L domains and more valuable.
  • 3L domains can be remembered easier than 4L domains. This makes them again more valuable.

Because of the above mentioned, we can not just divide average price of the 3L domains into 26 in order to find average price of the 4L domains.

Saying the true value of LLLL.coms is 1/26 of the value of LLL.coms is nothing new, several of us were saying that in 2008. It certainly is not a hard-and-fast law, but it is a useful perspective. There is a relationship. I prefer fuzzy data to no data.

In these days of Chinese premiums the ratio would be 1/20, and get this:

Aprox. Current Value
CP LL.com $800,000
1/20 = $40,000 = equals roughly CP LLL.com value
1/20 = $2000 = will CP LLLL.com go there?

beautiful name

There a lot of Nexa trademarked, If some of them trademarked before the registration of the name nexa.com can pretend the name?

there is a higher risk.
However if a TM holder fill an udrp, in order to win there are to be respected the 3 conditions so it totally depends from the new onwer plans.

Looks like low quality LLLL.com BIN prices on Godaddy jump. If yesterday there is a several names available below $200 then today minimum BIN is $240 (and it's the only one, followed by $245)

And I'd like to add this to the list :
5L.com - 1/20 = $100
If the above math is true then 5L.com is already at $50 because 4L.com are at $1000.
