That was the most clear thing I saw the name Chickenhawk, animal/pet with wings, looked like some sort of bird, for some reason this Shooting the Sh.. thread, also saw a Notre Dame helmet, have no idea why. I'm a ND fan, not sure if one of the 4 left are, if it has some regional significance, don't know.

I wish I had these flashes when it comes to picking NFL games, got Minnesota tonight, hopefully the week starts out right.

I'm more awake now, the name of the pet is Chickenhawk. Somebody in this thread has or had a pet named that. I need to know who the person is.

I had a chickenhawk. It was injured and dad brought it home to heal. We kept it in our house for several weeks until it could fly again. My mom's friend was a wood carver and she carved an image of it for me as a present when I was young. It's hanging on a wall around here somewhere.

No nothing like that. You just have to take your wife out to her favorite restaurant or restaurant of her choice within 2 weeks of this posting, or it's end world type of stuff. The other 2 people I contacted I know (family, the other friend) and they will have to follow thru on their tasks. Their tasks are a bit more complicated, yours is one of the easiest ones I've seen and to be clear, I don't decide these tasks. So it's up to you to save the world, just have to go out and eat dinner.

And Minnesota is getting their butt whipped at home, amazing.

If you get fired you get no severance and i think no unemployment.

If you get laid off you get severance if the company provides it voluntarily.

People forget that the small employers don't provide severance. when your local business loses an employee you get someone who has an income drop close to zero...

"At will" employment. Some lucky people dont get to learn what that means when they hand out the lazy pejorative to the unemployed...

The armed forces is slightly different. I do know that military experience doesnt guarantee employment .

Just dont want people to misunderstand the system. Many of the offshore people Ive worked with assumed we all got redeployed or better jobs... Not a pink slip.
