I want to buy a domain in the .com zone. The owner issues it through sedo with a form requesting offers from buyers. The form states a minimum price of 1500. I offered 2000. I offered in September 2024 - no response, no counter-offer. I offered in June 2 weeks ago - no response.

What does this mean? The owner is not satisfied with the price? Why then does not the counter-offer offer, this is a common practice for sedo.

What else can I do to be sure that the seller saw my offer?

Might be an old listing.

Might be the owner is not interested.

Many people use stock minimum offers, regardless of asking price.

An alternative is to use a broker, if necessary.

I think Brad summed it up.

I do not think that it is because your offer is too low. A seller that sets a min is looking for something higher. For him/her not to respond is not logical.

My guess the listing is from the previous owner (sedo has lots of them...over 200 of my names there still have previous owner numbers).

Send an email to sedo explaining you would like to get in touch with the domain owner...I'm sure one of their brokers will get involved.
