Nice story here...
I post some blog domains for sale in a thread here last 2 weeks.
One of them was BlogAdult.com and my asking price was $80
Lucky not to get any response or offer for this post.
Before 5 days I got an offer in Sedo on this name and after a short time
sale ended in EU 600 !!!wow!!!

Well , you never know when you want to resell a name in a cheap price ,
what could happened...what you are missing...

This story has a happy end, but we all have other stories too...

Good deal. Imagine if you got that offer after you sold it?

Almost every name I've sold for $xxxx or $xxx even has been listed here or there for less than $100. Had one a couple of weeks ago that could have been picked up here for $8 at one point and sold it for $300 on the first offer. Months ago one which could have been bought here for $75 sold for $2500.

Congrats wow! I have a couple of stories w/ unhappy endings, however, the most recent one had a happy ending. I received an offer for a name that I thought I had renewed a week or so earlier. I went on my merry way for a couple of days, thinking about the offer and strategizing the negotiation, than, right before I sent a return email w/ my counter-offer, I ran a whois check. Needless to say, I was shocked when "my" name turned up "Pending Delete- Non-Restorable". Apparently, it had been on one of my maybe" lists and hadn't made the cut. In a panic, I rushed and placed a BlueRazor backorder on it, won it back and was able to make the sale.

This wouldn't apply to the domainers who rarely or never drop a name - but the majority of us, who sift through our registered names as they near expiry, deciding what to hold and what to fold, are, essentially, doing the same thing that card players at a poker table are doing.
