Im really confused now.... 'texas holdem poker' is the name of the game...??? Aside from 'poker' or 'texas holdem' what else would be a better domain name..?? Type in potential for people from germany must therefore exist...

And, fyi, just through parking i ve earnt $450 since registration... Now, i havent posted this appraisal as a trap, I just thought my learned peers would give me a nice insight into resell value - the german poker market is just beginning right now...

Well, if you hve earnED $450.00 in one month from parking that domain, then I say keep it. No use in selling it. It is a free and easy part time income. I matter not how much the domain is worth at this point, you'd be foolish to get rid of it.

Also, you must understnd that the majority of appraisals here are for wholesale, not at retail to an end user with a vision and a plan on how to develop it. It is a very flawed system of appraisal but a free one nonetheless.

I totally agree with Badger. Great keywords and often good payouts on PPC on the terms. 27000 for the term on OVT.

Not a game that will be translated into German so no lang problem messing things up there either.

Based on income could be worth $4000 alone, let alone the chance of selling to enduser.

Appraisals around here have been crazy lately. I saw that domain and immediately thought high $xxx to low $xx,xxx, depending on end user, even with the .de extension. Lest we forget (or for some, didn't know about) that .de can sell HUGE with the right words, regardless if in English. Chat.de for $500,000 and is only the most famous, next to Poker.de that went for I hear much more to Casino Wiesbaden. Try Living.de and you will get the corporate offices "Living Design", which does ads for "Culture Magazine" if you've never heard of it. Even at a redirect, this name can be sold for big bucks. :great: :lala: :p

I could not agree more with the statement above. Especially with the appraisals. It is like every new person on this board just chimes in for NP$ There are no real thoughts or explanations, just a quick "reg fee" to low xx. It is like they have a special button on their keyboard for appraisals.

One of the admins should start a beat down on some of these members. I have seen several members that just signed up this month or last that have almost as many post as some of the founders. lol . Wow!

Maybe RJ can set up an another appraisal forum where you have to be a member for at least a year to chime in.

Texas Holdem Poker is a style of poker, it's not a location. So Germany could enjoy this style just as much as any country and it will probably be quite popular there in a year or so. If the domain is making $450 a month, than you got to think it's at least worth a high xxxx to low xxxxx value, and perhaps even more to a casino who wants to open up their market. Even without that, the OVT gives it some degree of value. I don't claim to know much about the value of domains, but even I can see that it's worth more than 0 - regfee. By the way zquest, no casino oriented developed site is only worth $10 no matter what the extension.

Anyone reading the part where i announced id earnt $450 through parking since registation and then posting reg fee is either:
