Suggestions when soliciting a large company to sell it a generic domain name

I was looking for tips on how to best approach a company about selling it a keyword, generic 4 letter domain name.

Other than identifying the appropriate person to address an email or letter to, can you suggest some things worth mentioning in the email?

FYI, there are no trademark issues, I checked. This letter will go out to multiple companies that use the generic name in their business titles. There are literally hundreds.

The only tip I can give you is to make sure you don't send the same email to multiple recipients. That's spam. Send individualized emails to each recipient.
