Stuck on PR2.... SEO - What to Do??!!

Hi guys

My site has been live for around 10 months now and I really want to increase traffic but I feel like I am banging my head against a brick wall when it comes to improving my SEO, I guess my knowledge isn't great but I would appreciated any advice at all that may improve my ranking and increase traffic etc!!!

i'd suggest you google up "search engine optimization" and read up on all the basic stuff first. you should also determine what your main keywords are, and check every week to see how high your website ranks for those keywords. i'm looking over your site right now and no keywords really jump out at me or the keyword density is just miserable.

if you're looking to rank high for insurance quotes etc, then don't be too disappointed if you don't rank that highly because those are tough keywords.

You also need to exchange links with similiar sites such as yours. Backlinks are necessary for a boost that you are looking for. Do not buy links for PR. Google frowns upon this and will penalize if they find out or someone snitches on you. But backlinks are a necessity for SEO. Make sure you have it in your signature at all forums is a start. You may also pay people to carry your sig in their links as wel.

But there are more thing than just backlinks and signature links. So like said before study up on your SEO.

First of all Don't measure your SEO efforts with PR. It normally updates after 90 days and this time it hasn't updated on the toolbar.

Check your SERP's and monitor the positions.

Before starting the checks on SERP's do links campaigns for atleast 1 month and then start on the checks.
