Sparknames hell

Hi guys

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I'm at the end of my tether with Sparknames outfit

Cannot access my account with correct log in details.
Tried their reset password function just in case, but never recieve change password email from them (tried at least a dozen times)

It's not related to cookies being enabled or not etc on my pc that is causing the log-in problems

Has anyone else experienced these problems with Sparknames and if so do you manage to get a resolution? (via legal channels or otherwise)
Any emails I have recieved from them come from [email protected] which is unprofessional in itself and doesn't inspire any confidence in this outfit at all.

Any help/advise would be appreciated as I want my domains out but cant get in to unlock them, let alone renew them.

Thanks in anticipation

Regards

LBM

Thanks for your help Allan

I've tried their support board, tried multiple attempts at contacting them via their hotmail address too (yes, hotmail unbelievably) I've tried PM'ing the board member Traffic Secret on Namepros too (who is associated with Sparknames it seems), but he hasn't replied to my latest PM

I'm now very suspicious of Sparknames and have copied my concerns to a legal rep and ICANN. I stand too lose some decent names and I wont let this rest.

I'm just about cheesed off with the number of cowboys infiltrating the domain industry and then swanning off on a Whim.

That's a start in the right direction. If you just emailed ICANN, it may get lost in the mass-mail they get. SHOULD that be the case, just incase you didn't notice it's existance, you can contact ICANN via http://reports.internic.net/cgi/registrars/problem-report.cgi

NOTE: It says they don't resolve the issue, per say. They don't unless it is plain outright vagrant violations of the rules (I'd think your issue was). But, registrars (like ENOM...Sparknames is an ENOM.com reseller) don't like getting complaints listed about them over at ICANN.

You can also contact Enom via form at: http://www.enom.com/contact.aspx
OR by one of the following:

eNom, Inc.
15801 NE 24th St.
Bellevue, WA 98008 USA

Support Fax: 425.974.4791
Technical Support: U.S. 1.425.974.4689 // U.K. +44(0)161 2364100
Legal Department: [email protected]

And you're right...you shouldn't take being ignored like that! Go get 'em! :kickass:

If none of the above seem to help, after a resonable time, just yell back here.
