So, who are YOU?

I've been wandering around the forums for the first time properly in about 3 years, and I keep seeing the word 'community' pop up. I realise now that on my return, I probably don't know 95% of the people who post here anymore!

Not only this, but a lot of NPrs probably don't know that much about their neighbours either. The first step of a sale is to know your consumer, and seen as this is a business forum, I see space for a thread where each of us rattle off a nice little monologue about how amazing, intelligent and interesting we all are :blink:

Location: Cardiff, in Wales. For those of you with poor geography, it's a third world country just off the border of England. We even get free medicine here. :hearts:

A Little About Myself: I would like to think I'm a pretty relaxed guy. I like partying as much as I like putting my feet up, pretending I'm 40 and turning on a documentary about the atomic structure of a goji berry.
I'm currently in my final year of study at Cardiff University, doing Linguistics, which is quite possibly the most confused course in the world. (a nice mixture of English Language, Psychology, Sociology, Biology, Physics, History, Mathematics, Business and Computing)

My achievements: I do charity work for PDSA and other animal rights organisations. (I'm not a vegetarian though) Obviously aiming for a good grade to finish university and then that'll be a nice achievement. I'm not sure if my girlfriend counts as an achievement, but I guess I'd better put her in here or she might get angry....

A Little About Yourself:
I am 29. I am a poet and writer hoping to turn passion into profession. Until that day comes (and I am actively performing so hopefully ...) I work in a regular office job. No high function or no impressive duty, but to be honest I quite dislike the business world so I am quite happy to be on the lower level without all stress and conforming that comes when one starts going to the more upper level of a company. I've lived in 7 countries now and am a geography addict. My big passions are the Arctic, remote little islands, and the Middle East. My big dream is to settle in Israel or in Turkey (where I previously lived and loved every bit and piece of it). I love soccer but not exactly the typical soccer fan culture. I love photography and political debate. I am a member of a local political movement here in Spain. I spend hours and hours on travel documentaries, travel guides, and political literature every week. I love music, mainly new-wave, darkwave, gothic, metal and Arabic music. Some of my favourites include Echo & The Bunnymen, The Smiths, Manic Street Preachers, Placebo, Orphaned Land, The God Machine, The Connells, Muse, A Perfect Circle, Rush, ... I speak 4 languages and am currently studying Hebrew, which would be the 5th language should I succeed. I have been vegetarian, nearly vegan, since I was 6 years old (and only veggie in the family). I have a form of autism and suffer from OCD and unipolar depression. That's mainly it.

- having been involved in two non-profits in the sporting field
- member of a political party/movement here in Catalonia (if you call that charity depends on your political opinions)
- speeching at universities
- no degrees. I always disliked studying when I was younger. I would now love to return to college and study Middle Eastern culture and history, arts, or political history. The problem is lack of budget to do so.
