I registered with snapnames.com 3 days ago and bid on a backorder domain and next day i found that my account suspended without any reason. my credit card was billed 4 times and i don't know why.??

Please take a look what it says after login:
Your SnapNames Account has been SUSPENDED.
Please contact SnapNames Customer Support or call 1-877-352-5630 (or 1-570-708-8760 outside the United States) to re-enable your account.

I tried to contact support team and there is no response after 2 days.

What should i do to enable my account?

Thanks

IMHO, you should lick your wounds and beat feet out of there. Here, read a little episode about the company you now complain about:

Still feel like spending money there?

Yeah, I would not bid at ScamNames.... Probably was a good thing your account got suspended....

Those are very old news... Did you try entering your credit card info 4 times by any chance?

Those are very old news...

Aside from your awful grammar, I'll let you know the whole episode, from what I understand, is not yet over. No one went to jail or was even convicted in criminal court, as far as I know. I've read that an "investigation" is either currently underway or pending, and that civil lawsuit(s) have not yet resolved. So when you awkwardly say, "Those are very old news ...," remember that it's not over yet, although there are some members here who would rather have you think the whole episode is long forgotten. It's not.

You should go complain on another thread. I am focusing on helping the person who posted this thread. Or better yet go be a grammar teacher.

You're not helping the "person who posted" by minimizing the Snapnames shill-bidding scandal.

You seem inclined to blame the victim instead of a documented fraudster. Shame on you. It says a lot about you.

This thread has nothing to do with the shill bidding scandal! I was looking at all your other posts and in all of them are you complaining and criticizing. So now I understand this is what you do here (besides looking at grammar)... And I agree that snapnames did very wrong with the shill bidding, but again, this thread is not about that. So it has nothing to do with this. Snapnames is the top drop catcher so many domainers use them regardless what happened. I won't waste more time with you btw.

Perhaps not directly, but this thread DOES have to do with any company that has a documented history of treating customers like schmucks, suckers, and dupes. It has to do with a company's character, past and present. It has to do with more than one domain auction entity sticking it to its customers with fish hooks attached, then breaking it off inside. Perhaps if you lost a bunch of money to auction fraud perpetrated by the auctioneer you'd have a different perspective.

I think they reimbursed most domainers who lost money because of this scam plus interest rates. It was wrong right from the start but it's not that unusual. Shill bidding probably goes on in many auction houses not only with domains. Also it's not a matter of choice really. For many high end domains, you need snapnames. Whether you like it or not. If you don't go after high end domains, then good for you but I do need to use them.

They charged small amounts to your bank account. you have to confirm the amounts to them so they know its your bank account. Just call and confirm the amounts.

I would like to know what snapnames is doing that moniker is not unlocking or living up to its obligations when it comes to domain transfers?

Yes, you are correct. And when a Sotheby's or Christie's employee does it, that employee ends up in jail. When a domain auction entity does it, not only does the perpetrator NOT end up in jail, but jokers like you come out of the woodwork and minimize the damage, make excuses for them, then blame the customer.

I am just one of hundreds of customers snapnames has. I am not defending nor justifying what snapnames has done in the past. From what I understand, the people that were involved in that scam are not even working there anymore. The starter of this thread said the following:

" I registered with snapnames.com 3 days ago and bid on a backorder domain and next day i found that my account suspended without any reason. my credit card was billed 4 times and i don't know why.??"

So I went ahead and answered what I thought it could be to help him resolve the issue. And you are just posting hate comments all over. I understand you hate snapnames and that's okay. I don't love them nor hate them. I just use them for business purposes.

Exactly the same thing happened to me and they are not even responding to my emails. I am based in India, calling them over phone is difficult for me and is not feasible.
