There is no relevance to the Sitcoms.com sale. I can't see any value in these names...not to an end user anyway. Im sure you could flip them to a reseller here though

I think there is some value there, at least for resellers, as you say.

According to https://namebio.com/?s=AN3gTM2AzN , there has been sold over 100 domains in 2016 with VR in front, and I might be biased, but I don't think all that sold are so much greater :)

Maybe you'll get lucky and find another VR-domain fan that'll pay you your reg fees back, but that's about the extent of it with these two, sorry. I'd suggest looking into getting a refund, but I'm skeptical that 1&1 will be of much help there.

Even if a company were to develop some sort of VR sitcom, they would not want either of these domains.

99.9% of all VR domains are absolute junk.
