Hi,
Has anyone got any legit ways to save a few quid.
My main one, believe it or now, involves skype.
It has a txt feature which gives the illusion that you are sending a text from your own mobile phone. The reason why this is brilliant is because it costs 5.6pence per text, whereas on Vodafone, the standard charge for a single text is 10pence per text, which means that is almost a double saving.
Also if you phone a toll free US number from a UK landline, it costs money, but if you use skype, it is free. I am assuming the same if you live in the US, and you wish to call a 0800 UK number.
Another one (mainly for UK people only, dont know if same policy is in other supermarkets) is to go into Tesco at around about 5pm-7pm. Everything that has today's display date on will be reduced by 50% at around 5pm. You can pick up loads of different things, it will usually be in the isles where there are a refrigerator, because most of the products are refrigerated.
Anyone else got any ideas/suggestions to save a few quid/bucks/euros?
Rob
