Hello everyone,

With LLLL.coms being all reg'd up I think its fair to say that some "long-term" domainers have been looking towards the brandable made up 5L.coms.

These have always been fun IMO and I'de like to see what everyone has registered or bought.

Please only post your 5L.coms that are easily pronouncable.
No JHTYO.com's or anything similar.. LOL

I'll start....
Name: Google Results
Quani.com: 40,900

Ogola.com: 39,300

Otaca.com: 97,700

Ruard.com: 29,900

Ocost.com: 3,600

Drous.com: 160,000

Wybot.com: 31,700

NiWii.com: 14,400

Meard.com: 121,000

That's all of mine that I would say are easily pronouncable:)

i remember when you regged these... i think your VVVVV.com's that have one of each vowel (a e i o and u) are great.... these are long term holds though IMO as it might take a bit for them to appreciate.

I think they, like mine, are ultimately "vanity" names. So it was described to me. Like my America.am, it's not got a lot of value unless you just really want it. Bragging rights so to say. So in our industry (domaining) we sometimes seek trophy names. The "rare" combinations that could mean absolutely nothing, however, our vanity may motivate us to want them.

On the other hand to find an end user for one of these may just see a premium. Take your AAooA... I can easily see this one finding a true home. As with others in your list.

Well I can admit I was looking for a rare name. Pronounceable (?) only vowel and only 2 vowels. I'm not speaking for your reasons just mine. Hold for end user. develop and create a value. These are the two options I'm seeing right now.....

PS
Please excuse my spelling. I just broke my hand and am on pain pills constantly.

If it helps you I sold UeUeU(.)com at the last NamePros live auction for a whopping $58. IMO it was worth more but I was eager to list it just to see what it would fetch.

Hi all

I noticed on the LLLLL.com "sales" thread that there have been some good sales lately

I see a lot have been on these 4 - AfterNic, Snapnames, NameJet & TDNAM

I have mainly sold on Sedo and by approaching end-users. A couple of things I was wondering about selling on the sites

What the process to sell domains??
Does it cost to have an auction?? (or is it a percantage of the sale price)
Do you have to have an offer before sending ot auction (like Sedo)
Does it cost anything to register??
Can I just list my names on those sites??

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

a lot of those you have seen that sold for good prices have been dropped domains caught by snapnames, namejet tdnam etc, then they auction them of to the highest bidder.

I think you can list your own domains for sale at afternic and tdnam, but have never done this.

hope this helps.

my 5L .coms:

usmum (us mum)
uksin (nice one for all the sinners in UK i think)
wegox (we go x)
cixof
fozac (great name for a medicine or vaccin?)
nozic (great name for a medicine or vaccin?)

Since im only a few days old in the domain industry I´d thankfully appreciate appraisals of the domains above. Or any ideas what to do with them.
(suppose this maybe should go in the appraisal thread, but im not allowed to post any new threads there (!)(?) Maybe cause im so new in this forum?

nice names, but dont expect a flood of offers for them, best when your buying 5l.com to look for eyecatching brandables or great development potential( you have some ideas for the ones you bought so well done).

keep reading the forum and learning.

and dont buy too many until you fully understand the domain business.

thanks

rokip is nice, could be a good name for a sleeping bag product.

Not sure about copyb. Were you thinking of plan A, plan B?
