Should I Accept $500 For this Domain?

Thanks for your help on this. I realize that this is based on opinion but please tell me yours. I received an offer via Sedo for LifeAdvisor(dot)com for $500 and wanted to ask if you would accept it if you were me?

And by the way, if you feel you want this domain, please feel free to PM me an offer.
Thanks

I personally would not accept $500. I think the potential upside to the right buyer is much higher.

That is a very general term with only 170 exact searches. I cant imagine many good potential end users to it.

I would sell (send it to auction) and make a nice and quick profit with it. IMO!

It really depends on what you want to do with it and if you're in need of money right away. If you're planning on developing the website and you think that the domain has a lot of potential then you should ask for more. If the buyer is also an end user then they will more likely to shell more money if they really want your domain, so try to negotiate with the person. But if you're in need of money, like an emergency money, then you should sell it especially if you've just recently registered the domain for $7.49 at Godaddy.

I would edit the name out of the title and post if possible...so it doesn't get indexed and viewed by the potential buyer...but it may be too late.

If their initial offer was 500, I would counter
with something in the mid x,xxx range.

Then again, it all depends on how much you want/need the money, and how you value it yourself.

Best of luck!

First, Let me say...
It's GREAT NAME!

If it's mine, I would hold on to it.
$500 is too little, imho.

This is one of those domain that can not price
based on revenue nor # of searches for month.

Right enduser will know the value without explanation.

$500 is a starting offer, counter back, upside has more than $500 potential, sometimes people need to use their brains, and not just google search tools to do the thinking.

Its a good name for people that know they never could own life coach. $500 not enough.

$500 is way too cheap to sell even if it was an individual who is a life coach offering that much it's under the odds. At least low $X,XXX it's quite a nice name.

As a very long standing member why are you asking for advice on this name?

registered member since 2003 but not a lot of activity for 8 years so prolly just wants the opinion so no problem with that.

as far as the domain name, LifeAdvisor.com, it is an excellent domain name and if you are not in need of $$$ right now then I would counter and be prepared to hold on to it.

btw - i would edit the domain name in the post.

Exactly, I've been out of the loop a long time, out of touch with the current domain market. Thanks for the advice on removing the domain, just removed.

LifeAdvisor sounds really nice and $500 is not worth it. This should be cost more at least $1500+

Ditto on this. There's a lot more than $500 of value in that name.

Just keep in mind, if they ask for an 'Appraisal' , don't spend your money on one... I usally get about two offers a month and it only wants me to use their appraisal service...they aren't out to get my domain only my money... good luck with domain.

$500 is way too cheap. I would counter offer at $1995. That is a great domain that you have there. It is a perfect long term investment. You will get other offers in the future if you are patient enough. I would personally spent $80 and renew for 10 years and forget about low offers.

I found a few sites using a similar name but your domain is better than any of those:

termlifeadvisor.com
richlifeadvisors.com
lifeadvisorforeveryone.com
lifeadvisoryboard.com
professionallifeadvisor.com
ideallifeadvisor.com
lifeadvisor.eu
lifeadvisor.org
lifeadvisor.nl
