You have a lot of Epik employees vote for..........Epik.

And you're just not paying for landers. We went over this in the other thread, you guys tried to have that thread deleted. They're not a marketplace like the 3 above. You can't go to the site and buy domains. Marketplace in the Efty world means a domainers own portfolio.

If things went that route, then what about employees of other companies, as well? Not allow them to vote? As Mod Team Bravo said on another thread, "Interestingly, we have a lot of evidence that there are hundreds of employees of these top companies on NamePros without staff badges."

It might be good already to have those employees identify themselves, so the rest of us know who we're actually dealing with; who might be part of a company they're prone to support; …..?

Yep, every employee should be badged up/transparency. Going thru the votes, if you take the employee votes out, Dan would have won. When you have 31 employees, could be more, easy to stuff the vote, built in support, etc.

I am right. I counted at least 12 employees in the vote for Epik. Let's do some basic math:

87-12 = 75

Dan had 79 votes

79 > 75

Back on the topic of polls.

End of the day it's just some poll on some forum on the internet, it's not moving society. And I've always said if you like some registrar, you like some landing page, then it really doesn't matter what other people think.

Having said that, with polls here. If you want a more legit poll, I think it's 3 main things. Public voting, so you can see who votes. That was done. I don't think employees should vote. With the poll in question, Epik has the most votes, but they had 20 staff votes. Take that away and Dan wins. So with 31 employees here and growing, you can pretty much run the place, polls are pretty useless. You're always going to have 31 people that have your back, job security. Also, I would have minimum post count, so you don't have people join just to vote. If they complain, you just give them the spiel about membership has it's privileges. You want to vote, be an active member of the community.

And, all employees should have badges/transparency.
