Hi All! :hi:

By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Hi Sedo team,
One of my domains received an offer on Sedo back in 2022. I remember having a brief conversation with the potential buyer through the messaging system provided on the platform. As far as I recall, the offer started around $200 and went up to $1,000.
Since no deal was reached, I intended to end the negotiation โ€” but I accidentally deleted the conversation thread.
I was wondering, is it possible for Sedo to retrieve or restore the details of that conversation?
If itโ€™s possible to restore the chat, Iโ€™d be happy to provide the domain name in question.

sl1.sedo.com & sl2.sedo.com are working fine today. You will get the #15 sales lander.

However, it may take some time for your new TLS certificate to be provisioned when you switch your setup from ns1.sedoparking.com & ns2.sedoparking.com to sl1.sedo.com & sl2.sedo.com and corresponding infra. Both environments do not share existing TLS certificates.

Manually visiting your lander at https://example.com/ will speed up the TLS certificate provisioning process.

Furthermore, take into account DNS cache, which may still use the previous nameservers, or point you to the Sedo webserver that is currently unresponsive.

sl1.sedo.com & sl2.sedo.com is not resolving also !!

Sedo's GreatDomains auction is ongoing. At least the owner of rmx.com took notice (sedoparking -> domaineasy) and BIN priced it on top of it.

the owner has this domain in auction and is committed to sell it at sedo. so I guess if a buyer hits the buy it now it is worth ending your relationship with sedo.

I can't believe it's not a showcase domain in their ad. Do sellers pay extra to be included? That visibility should be reserved for halo domains. Gynoids?

Anyway, sedoparking nameservers seem to be operational now.

Received a reply from support stating the issue is fixed. I had already spent my time changing the name servers.

Today: I CANNOT CHANGE my prices!

I cannot change sales status or anything.

Today: I CANNOT CHANGE my prices!

I cannot change sales status or anything.
Same here. I wrote Sedo an email earlier and asked if they were having database problems.

I also told them that there were problems with the name servers over the entire weekend and that it would be nice if they could comment on this ๐Ÿ˜‰

I'm excited to see what happens!

have not seen one. Here is what I received by email:

We would like to inform you that there was a temporary technical issue which has now been fixed. We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Database errors when attempting to change any pricing today.

I had price changes that needed to be made. But I could not do it because of whatever this database error is.

After a couple of attempts, I was able to delete the 2 domains that I needed to change pricing on. Then I was able to re-add them at the correct price. Not ideal, because you lose all history / offer visits for the domain. But it was better than not being able to update the price in my situation.

Hi, upon checking my portfolio I can see that all my domains have ZERO views.

They are not pointing to sedo landers but I'm wondering why it's not showing any internal traffic from the sedo marketplace?

I own around 250 domains.

Please let me know @Sedo

never heard of it. I looked it up....but honestly am not interested in anything other than them fixing their site.

The ability to manage pricing is working again. I was just able to adjust some.
