Hi All! :hi:

By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas! Happy Holidays!

Always,
Keith
(on behalf of Sedo)

Sedo is on vacation right now, making all of my sales freeze, keeping my money on their bank accounts.
At least let me know if you have fun from the interest created out of them.

How is Sedo doing? Been out of domaining for awhile, looking to get back into it slightly... are they still the best place to park domains or did another site take over?

Anybody know how to link to all your Sedo listings on one page?

I have seen people post a link to a list of their domains with prices on the Sedo site. Or did I imagine it???

accent,
to get the link to your portfolio go to:
sedo.com > my sedo > my account > account settings

And Sedo, how about replying to my 2 pm's and the question in the thread regarding the recent ridiculous Great Domains IDN  sale.

Still waiting for that reply!

Thanks Erdinc.

Hey Sedo - How about a way to set the default sort order to make a good first impression?

Thanks Olie for putting up your portfolio lol

There still going to sell the names individually, you can see they have different reserves. Guess Olie told them he would sell unless his name was in the headline. Sedo might have decided to keep the portfolio together because of the high quality nets (just my very fast look at it)

When I try and put my domains for auction it only allows me to choose the .co auction. Anyone know why?

I've never sold a domain sorry

ATTENTION SEDO.

At the very least, you should add an extension filter to your domain search feature :imho:

Question to Sedo:

How to order personal domain portfolio list by "Bids" field?
In old sedo web interface it was easy to do just adding &rel=4 parameter to the end of http link. Now it's not working anymore.

Situation: I want to pass ordered domain portfolio link to the potential end user,
the list must be ordered by "bids" and descending.

For old sedo web interface the working solution is:
http://sedo.com/search/searchresult.php4?showportfolio=1b1dd6075f693d92a900fd6cbd44819b9d90ea23&rel=4

In new sedo web interface it doesn't work anymore, enduser must do all ordering stuff itself.

SEDO help

Hey Guys,
My name is Mike. I am fairly new to Domain Selling and have a few question about SEDO:

1)Is it recommended to pay the extra fee to get a category or homepage feature?
2)About how long does it normally take to get an offer?

That is all for now. Thanks in advance.

About 1) It was waste your money to get homepage featured. Category maybe worth something.

I have not had any luck with paying for homepage placement, but others might have.

Regarding how long to wait for offers, that is really impossible to say unless you have some premium domains that there will always be a liquid market for.

Most of the time, no imho.
Instead, put your money into domains that speak for themselves :)
If your domains are not desirable, it's not worth paying for more exposure.

2)About how long does it normally take to get an offer?
It all depends. It could take years.
If you have great domains you will normally receive inquiries and unsolicited offers at some point.

Be aware that there are many more sellers than buyers for domains. There is demand for premium domains, for average domains, much less. People will usually find something available rather than buying a domain from somebody. That's the reality.
