Hi All! :hi:

By request, we've decided to start a thread dedicated to Sedo. We're looking for invaluable insight into what domainers want and need out of our parking program (and marketplace, of course).

Questions, comments, suggestions, tips are welcome! We're hoping this will be a great discussion about what works at Sedo and what might not (please be constructive and respectful to others in your feedback) so that everyone involved can benefit and learn from it.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and ideas! Happy Holidays!

Always,
Keith
(on behalf of Sedo)

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
I just detected this 127.0.0.1 issue on the domain added to my account ~40 minutes ago.
It is without any flags/warnings - but nothing works...

It is listed and can be found on marketplace via searchbox...
Even MLS works - I see its price on Dynadot.
But 127.0.0.1

And it is not related to DNS cache...
I ask Sedo nameservers directly - they all answer 127.0.0.1
True idiotism.

Thank you for sharing. Do you have any more concrete details, like the domain? So we can have a look at this together.

My detected victim is JAGUAR in PRO

Sales Lander v1 works when I check it via long Sedo URL...
But the domain itself is 127.0.0.1 for all visitors.

Hi @Jurgen Wolf

I can confirm what you're saying. The domain is delegated to Sedo's authoritative nameservers, and these nameservers hand out 127.0.0.1.

You may look up A record for all your Sedo parked domains in a bulk via https://digwebinterface.com
I'm not alone definitely.

That's a nice web interface to the same dig tool I was using, indeed. Interested people may use the 'trace' option to combine the queries I made.

While I'm passively listing all of my domains at Sedo, I've stopped using them for my landers, because of the continuous technical problems that don't get resolved. Sad to say, but true. Sedo has such a lot of untapped potential.

I use kdig on Linux.
And the mentioned webtool for BULK checks.

@Sedo
It is not even Refresh delay on your nameservers...
Almost 5h elapsed already - but 127.0.0.1 is static/frozen on your side.

Sedo does not like jaguars it seems :(

See http://www.sedoparking.com/jaguar.pro (old-fashioned forwarding, which still works but shows 2tier ads) - it is 403 Forbidden error! Only for the domain in question...

I use Sales Lander v1 for all my domains there.
And v1 works via URL for this domain (as I posted above).

Issue is on their nameservers, 127.0.0.1 is set in the zone file.

My ticket @Sedo is pending ~7h already, still without any reply like in this thread...
Too hard quest...

Please remove the 2nd vertical scrollbar from your control panel.
It appeared ~2 weeks ago and still remains...
See screenshot with this abnormal 2nd Vscrollbar...

22h elapsed.
Nothing works @Sedo nameservers, they answer the idiotic 127.0.0.1
Also no any reply in my ticket.

I just forwarded this domain to Sales Lander v1 using its registrar (Epik).

@Sedo
And many times was already asked to minimize this abnormal size of Cookies warning!
See screenshot...
~1/3 of the visible area is covered, with another pages even up to ~1/2!

Try .org/.info via the same method - they work...
Also working IP is set for these domains @Sedo nameservers - I rechecked.

Why they discriminated my domain - no reply since Thursday, they are always relaxed in Summer...

must be due to domain history with Sedo then... what if it was owned by somebody else and parked with sedo before...

Then very strange...
Because since 2008 I listed and parked X,XXX domains there...
And the only 1 domain was bound to 127.0.0.1 from TONS with Sedo history.

The most annoying thing not even this 127.0.0.1 detected by me.
But no any flags/warnings directly @Sedo panel...
Why they add the "banned" domains to account like any other "good" domains???

And also why to set 127.0.0.1 per domains without any significant traffic (like ~10 human visitors monthly)???
True idiotism from @Sedo.
