Sedo Appraisal on my domain

Listed my domain on Sedo. The listing tool they have told me the value was greater than $10,000 and to list it for over $10,000 I would need an appraisal.

I'm debating on paying the $100 as I truly think this domain is actually worth $10,000 or more, but I'm just curious what the pros and cons of getting an appraisal is, and what people's experience is.

The domain by the way is BANKS . Money

Np appraisal was a good .. but the limit is two. so other choice is flippa appraisals.

I'll give you that: at least he'd have saved money. But NP appraisals are superior (Flippa's were incentive-based, thus a billion BS appraisals littered the area). You can make as many NP appraisals as you want, though. Only 2? Can anyone verify this?

Yes, limited to 2 appraisals.
Otherwise it would be littered with more crap domains than one could handle.

i don't know how much basic np members get for appraisal thread.. for me as a namepros supporter, i got 3 appraisal threads.. thankful to Np.

Don't have idea if you are saying flippa appraisals is waste.. so where should we go for estimated value except np ?
for now- sedo may be rejected

ALL appraisals are a waste, no matter where you go. They're good for seeing if the public believes there is any valuation, but that's it

Sedo Appraisals are worthless.
One example, is that they appraise new gTLD domains above $10,000 and sometimes at $xx,xxx,xxx.
In order to list a domain at buy now above $10,000, there is a need to buy Sedo appraisal and receive a domain appraisal of above $10,000.
I have seen many new gTLD domains at buy now above $10,000 and some were mid-high $xx,xxx or much more.
It doesn't make any sense.
For example, guide.careers is listed at ridiculous $16,777,215 buy now...LOL
I counted dozens of new gTLD domains and worthless popular gTLD domains listed at extremely high prices.

IMO, they should completely remove those worthless appraisals if they care about their customers.
The only issue is they only care about their own pockets when it comes to appraisals and listing upgrades.

IMO you should save the $100, banks .money is not worth $10k or anywhere near there.

If I was you I would email domainers from different blogs to help you value it. These are the type of people who would know the prices of different types of domains.
