.Science which launched at the end of February is still adding more domain registrations a day than any other new gTLD extension by far on a daily basis.
.Science is getting around 3,000 registrations a day and around 7,000 registration on April 19.
Around 85% of all registrations are coming from Alpnames, which gave away about 50K domain names for free and are currently selling .Science domain for $.49.
However, these free to almost free domain programs, are looking more like the ccTLD of .tk which has over 25 million registered domains, than a revolution in the domain space.
The title and the content has been taken from thedomains
Michael Berkens has shared some of the domain names that were registered. 99% of these domains don't go with the extension and are non-sensical.
So, where do you think .Science is going?
